Sony Pictures confirmed at CinemaCon 2026 that Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse will be the "final chapter" of Miles Morales' story. The studio debuted new footage and images, setting a final release date for June 18, 2027.

Marvel Comics has announced Punisher vs. Spider-Man, a new five-issue limited series set during the characters’ early days, shortly after their first meeting in Amazing Spider-Man #129 (1974), the issue that also marked the Punisher’s debut.

Writer Dan Abnett and artist Matteo Della Fonte make up the creative team for the series. The story begins with the Punisher and Spider-Man grudgingly teaming up to help one of Frank Castle’s allies. The first issue is scheduled for release on July 15, 2026.

Fresh off his multiversal exploits in the Ultimate Universe, Miles Morales returns to Brooklyn to balance the usual chaos of high school, family life, and a budding romance. However, his world is turned upside down when a ghost from his father’s S.H.I.E.L.D. past resurfaces.

Miles Morales: Spider-Man #1 is set to hit shelves on August 12.

 

Apple TV+ has released the first teaser for Silo Season 3, which is set to premiere this July. Rebecca Ferguson returns as Juliette Nichols in the acclaimed post-apocalyptic series, with weekly episodes running through September to finally uncover "how it all began."

 

Dark Horse Comics and Mattel have announced Masters of the Universe: Genesis, a 12-issue series exploring Eternian history. Launching August 5, 2026, the debut issue kicks off by reimagining the origin of Skeletor.
