This has always been a wet dream of his, and he's been doing his damndest to make it come true. Of course he's always been pro-Russia and always will be, and his fake 'America first' shit doesn't hide the fact that he doesn't give a fuck about the USA other than it being a resource to be used for the agenda he's so loyal to. As we've been seeing, the "allies" he's referring to in this quote also include US citizens. He and his followers share a similar fantasy that they think Trump's loyal to them the same way he believes Russia is loyal to him, when they're all just seen as means to an end to be thrown away when their purpose is served. Russia knows how to play Trump the same way he's been able to play his cult members, and eventually it will bite him in his narcissistic ass. Not soon enough, but it's coming.
