Really? I didn't even know this was being made. Is it any good?

I actually watched the pilot episode last night. Since I haven't read any of the GRRM novels I thought it had a fairly decent plotline although I feel as if the writers will have plenty of fight scenes coming down the pike to keep the audience intrigued.

I'm very interested in viewing the character development and how it ties into what I already know about ancient Westeros.

For those who still havent watch Knight of the Seven kingdoms. It is pretty good, it is actually pretty true to the books that it is based on. They had to change a few things to account for the non book readers nothing to major. Also if you are looking for the backstabbing and political intrigue of GOT or HOTD this isnt that type of story. This is much lighter of a story more on the comedic side.

A little info if you need it this story takes place 80 years after HOTD ends and about 73 years before the death of Aerys. The characters in this series play critical roles in shaping the future of westeros.
the little boy egg is actually maester Aemon's younger brother, he is Areys grandfather, and Dany's great-grandfather
. The Targaryens are in the middle of their decline while they are still the ruling family and still have power they aren't what they once were as they no longer have their dragons.
