I thought he spin the block on Hailee Stenfield to be frank. But Adria is a good pick

He'll be back. Kang wasn't his best role anyway and he's still young.

I didn't realize how sexy and beautiful she is until I saw her in Hitman.

She's executive producing. Keeping up with the trend of non-black Female Actresses that are
Producing & Starring in roles where they cast a Black Male as their Love Interest.

    Elzabeth Olsen
    Kristen Bell
    Jennifer Connelly
    Vanessa Hudgens
    Kaley Cuoco
    Florence Pugh
    Roselyn Sanchez
    Anna Paquin
    Katie Holmes
    Reese Witherspoon
    Natalie Portman
    Sydney Sweeney

I know there's more I'm just drawing blanks right now. lol.
    But I LIKE this trend!

Kristen Bell and Elizabeth Olsen in particular seem to really have a push towards it.
In Olsen's latest film "The Assessment" there are no white men, ZERO, all of the men including ones she is with or has sexual history with are Black or Brown men, even the other couples shown the husband is always Black. Was not expecting that.

Respect for the Black Male Actor that we haven't seen in years past...

And it's mainly coming from the women; BIG name actresses at that. It's awesome to see!

That name suggests otherwise. He looks to be Afro Latino or Afro South Asian. Wouldn't surprise considering he is from Canada. We have to stop limiting what a "black" man is. To be honest even Sub Saharan Africans can often not sed the term black, as if its more of an American or western thing.

His mom is British/Hungarian and his dad is Nigirian/Cuban. So I guess your right.

Honestly I am surprised that this show doesn't star Burnham's Son...feels like that would be the obvious connective tissue. Given how the last season of Disco Ended.

Do we know how long Academy takes place after Disco not counting the final flashforward? @kalel32688 @JamalSpunky @Jeffrey Tripp
