Actually Ronja it's not a spelling error, the word I quoted has German/ Jiddish roots and is correct. Now there seem to be 2 versions but I don't think either one is incorrect.

Don't worry there plenty of Americans that can't speak/type English very well either, I can understand you and that's all that's important.

 

thats right, the most important thing is understanding...not showing the fluent and perfect knowledge of the language! but some ppl get mad if they see some mistakes. well, its not my business, i just dont care

And it's very possible to be European AND have English as first language.
Even if it isn't (and you happen to speak several other languages fluently) it gives you no right to be rude to others.

You shouldn't just try to be more tolerant, you should actually apologize for trying to ridicule DI like you did.
