What is the DMV region like when it comes to interracial dating compared to other US cities?

I’m talking about DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia I never been there. Just curious what the interracial dating scene is like. Do most girls white, black, Asian, Latina tend to go for the white guys or black guys? Is it more progressive and liberal like how are race relations there? I was thinking about living in the DMV so just curious how the interracial dating scene is. Do you see Asian women black men? Latina women black men? White women black men? Arab women? Black men?

 

I live just north of Washington DC in Montgomery County, MD. I see plenty of IR couples, but I'd say that the majority of them are WW/BM. I see BM (and WM) wit women of other races too. Most seem to not give it a second thought which is great for everyone. I've even noticed plenty of IR couples some ways outside of the beltway (like 75 miles plus in some of the rural towns. Again, it tends to be WW/BM. I'm sure they're p\enty who don't like it but it is what it is. For me my ex had mentioned a few times in which she'd get the side-eye look from BW. I do see plenty of Asian women with white men, and even white women with asian men. IR is alive and well in the DMV.

 

Last time I was in DC I turned on Bumble and Tinder and got a lot of matches from white women so definitely has it's appeal there.

 

But I am curious if Asian women and Latina women are into dating black men. Or is it more likely that Asian women and Latina women are into dating the white men. You say that the white women are dating black men. I was wondering what other IR pairings you’ve seen?

 

Latinas date BM for sure, with Asian women it's not as much, harsh reality is Asian women typically prefer either other Asian men or white men.

 

So you would say in the DMV region most of the time you see white women dating black men, Latina women dating black men, not really much with Asian women you mean with brothas hooking up with them in any city or just talking DMV? Would you say you see more WW/BM couples and Latinas with black men more than black men dating black women? I hope I’m not sounding confusing I just was wondering thanks. Would you say the brothas are picking up dime white women and Latina women in the DMV or just average not that good looking from what you’ve seen? I say that because a lot of times I hear black men are always left with the girls who are ugly and mediocre like the ones who do a lot of smoking and drinking, have a lot of piercings and tattoos. I am talking upscale and classy girls the bros are’nt getting that in DMV? I’ve been there before and haven’t seen it I’m just saying I guess I wasn’t there for that long to visit. I’m talking thick athletic built curvy white girls or Latina girls and pretty in the face? I don’t mean to sound so descriptive and detailed again I don’t want to come off as inappropriate or rude you know. It’s just a certain type of taste that I like.

 

I think I get what you are asking. I can only go on my limited experience in the DMV (mainly DC) I see a lot of black men with classy and beautiful white women all the time. Same with Latinas. And even Asian women occasionally. DC is such a metropolitan city just a lot of mixing and forward thinking. Definitely see less mixing in Virginia. Which I find ironic since Loving v Virginia case lol.

Maryland I have less experience with, but seems about same more or less. In California it's HUGE for black men with white women, I think it's actually less common to see a black man with a black woman out here than any other pairing lol. But in DC a lot of high quality women and men getting together. And a little something for everyone. In terms of Asian women I more mean the general worldview of Asian women tbh. DC just happens to be no different than that. The only state where I really noticed a lot of black men with Asian women, or at least seemingly more than usual with Dallas in the Dallas and Austin areas. But I have no raw data on this, just personal experience and through my friends. I stay in regular contact with 4 black men who live in DC (I went there for higher education) out of the 4, three of them are with non-black women. The other is with a black woman that he's married to.

 

I just have a certain preference I was just curious if what I am asking you say you just see white women dating black men only in DC proper you don’t know much about Maryland you say and you said their is no mixing IR couples in NOVA-Northern Virginia really? The last time I was their well I’ve only been to NOVA once but I have been to DC twice I saw at least 3 IR couples white girl and black guy in DC they were at the African American museum I was totally shocked to see them at that location. So I’m assuming the whites in the DMV are not racist they are very left leaning very progressive plus lastly race relations seem to be good in that region? I went to the African American museum and I was shocked as to so many white people that were there and other races ethnicities too it seemed like they outnumbered all of the blacks that were at the museum strange. So the people I should say in the DMV are very woke I hope I’m not being rude. I like girls who are slim thick like that yes go to the gym that are fit that are in shape athletic I’m talking about the white girls and other girls of different races ethnicities. That are seen dating brothas you told me that they are beautiful the ones that you do see. I prefer all natural like natural boobs and natural body curves. I don’t know if you see any girls that look fake the majority of them that are with the black guys in DMV. Not to sound rude but I am just not into all of that. And again I don’t like a lot of piercings tattoos no heavy drinking not doing drugs. Are their plenty of women in the DMV that are not into this no matter if their black, Asian, white or Latina? I saw two IR couple by the way in Alexandria, VA last year when I visited that were white and black. White women and black men. One couple was getting married. But you say their is no mixing couples in Northern Virginia.

 

I get what you are saying, definitely a lot of natural women in DC and NOVA. And NOVA has a decent amount of interracial dating, just not as much as DC, definitely if you are into those types of women there are plenty to find in DC that will absolutely date brothers.
