My gf has been prescribed meds and is a basket case. She’s waiting for word from her lawyer re a German work visa and will be in the DR from the third week of this month until she hears from the German consulate and /or her attorney. I recommended she take a break from the interwebs, but to no avail. Doomscrolling until 2-3 am and then waking me up to ask questions about government operations until I call time and go back to sleep.
doomscrolling isn't great. sorry to hear about what you're dealing with I hope you can convince her to go touch some grass.
Hopefully her time in the DR will take the edge off. If not, then I hope 3-4 years in Germany will help. I'm not quite clear where people think they can escape to. So far, I've got four friends and one acquaintance's parent who have succumbed to this terror. I haven't seen anything quite like this before and I've been involved in government and politics for nearly 40 years.
Not at all. My mind is blown to just how much is going down in the States right now. I'm hoping as a result Americans will start moving here! Lol. We need some variety, not just whites, asians and indians.

Mate, I'm it lol. My fellow Aussies have run into the sunset with their chocolate kings never to return lol. I think she's been gone for years to be honest. I think she was around in the lit days. I can't even say I'm glad to be in Australia lol.
