Joann Van Den Herik and Husani Ako

This woman popped up in my Instagram feed today, so I looked at her page and found out she's a match for this forum.I tried to find as much info as a could, but it's a not a lot as she appears to mostly be a "celebrity" in other parts of the world. Joann Van Den Herik is a Dutch plus-sized model signed to the prestigious Wilhelmina modeling agency. What makes her "famous" is she's the first cousin of Gigi and Bella Hadid (on their mother's side, her father is their uncle). She's been active since at least 2017, when she was 18 and is 25 now.



She has a boyfriend named Husani Ako, who's Instagram lists him as "Photographer, Cinematographer, Gaffer/Grip.

On July 7th, she posted some pics celebrating their one-year anniversary.

 

They're still together, and seemingly happy, as of the end of last year.

 

They seem appropriately affectionate and goofy with each other.

 

She's also published a book. It doesn't appear to be available in English yet. Google translate says it means "Joann's Path To Self-Love"
