Dynamite Entertainment Presents The Herculoids Building on the success of the Space Ghost series, Dynamite Entertainment is bringing another beloved Hanna-Barbera classic to readers in February 2025 — The Herculoids. Publisher Description: Hidden in the furthest reaches of space, the planet of Amzot is legendary for its fabled riches — and for the terrible fates that befall anybody who seeks to exploit them… Those who survive their encounters tell blood-chilling tales of horrific, imposing monsters that guard the mysterious world — yet the lure of its abundant resources is too great to resist. Raiders and pirates continue to come from across the galaxy, and there is only one force strong enough to stop their constant attacks — The Herculoids! But as strong as these defenders are, a recent battle may have pushed Amzot to its limits — and awakened a sleeping darkness within the planet itself.
Looking forward to this as well. I just saw the ad for it on television this morning while I was getting ready for work.
Episode 4 of Dune: Prophecy is in the queue for tonight's viewing before bedtime. I've got to find time to start Silo, Season 2 as well.

The New Thunderbolts Battle The Originals in New Limited Series Doctor Doom calls up the original Thunderbolts to battle a new Thunderbolts team in Thunderbolts: Doomstrike, a five-issue limited series by writers Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing and artist Tommaso Bianchi. The story ties into the One World Under Doom event, with Bucky Barnes, stricken by the part he played in Doctor Doom’s ascension to power, assembling a Thunderbolts team, including Black Widow, Songbird, USAgent, and Sharon Carter, to take down the usurper. Doom retaliates by forming his team of original Thunderbolts, including Moonstone, Atlas, and Fixer, setting the stage for a Thunderbolts vs. Thunderbolts showdown. The first issue will be released on February 19, 2025, with a cover by Leinil Francis Yu. One World Under Doom is "a Marvel event with brains, heart, and incredible scope," Kelly and Lanzing said in a statement accompanying the announcement. "The Thunderbolts are a crucial part of the puzzle: this is the story of what happens when heroes openly oppose Doom... and how they'll have to learn to fight differently if they're ever to make a difference. With returning characters and storylines we've been building since our run on Captain America, plus new and returning Thunderbolts from all eras, Thunderbolts: Doomstrike is a whole new take on Marvel's messiest, meanest superteam—a story about fighting the power, even if it costs you everything.
Another thing I love about this forum - the fact that I'm not the only sci-fi/comics/fantasy geek on here.
Turok: Origins Announced Dinosaur is back on the menu thanks to Turok: Origins, which was revealed at The Game Awards 2024 this week. A revival of the classic first-person shooter franchise, the Saber Interactive-developed Turok: Origins shifts gameplay to an over-the-shoulder third-person perspective. “Play as the legendary Turok warriors to face off against ferocious dinosaurs and a terrifying alien threat that seeks to destroy all human life in the galaxy,” the game’s official website reads. “Unleash devastating attacks on your enemies with weapons and abilities, and harness fallen enemies’ DNA to upgrade your arsenal. Embark on a high-stakes adventure — solo or with friends — to unravel mysteries that are key to saving humanity.” Based on the comic book of the same name, Turok first debuted on the Nintendo 64 in 1997 and spawned several sequels. More recently, the franchise was rebooted with 2008’s Turok, a critically panned effort from now-defunct Propaganda Games. Turok: Origins is planned for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC. No release date has been specified.
