His family released a statement that said,
“Tonight, with full but broken hearts, we must share the news of our father and brother Quincy Jones’ passing. And although this is an incredible loss for our family, we celebrate the great life that he lived and know there will never be another like him. He is truly one of a kind and we will miss him dearly; we take comfort and immense pride in knowing that the love and joy, that were the essence of his being, were shared with the world through all that he created. Through his music and his boundless love, Quincy Jones’ heart will beat for eternity.

I loved Teri Garr! She was awesome in both Young Frankenstein and Tootsie. She and David Letterman used to have this flirty, joking relationship that was so funny whenever she was on the show. She was one of the reasons I tuned in when I was in high school. R.I.P.

R.I.P. to a legend of music.

Great trailer. Want to watch the documentary now.
91 years is a good long life.
Forever in my heart the deeply emotional experience Geldolf gave my generation with Live Aid and Quincy's We Are the World.

    A great talent. R.I.P.

I always got a kick out of her flirtatious banter with David Letterman on his show. She will be missed. R.I.P.
