    Is your husband Black? And if not then why are you "interested" in interracial relationships & race issues?

    I was thinking the same thing.

    Another question that comes to mind is why the hell do so many see our relationships as some kind of novelty? The same questions applies to the way they tend to view people of other races and/or race issues as some type of curiosity as well. It's annoying and insulting as hell.

    Because they buy into all the racial stereotypes, especially the negative ones.

    It also doesn't help when there are individuals who claim to be "pro-IR" and propagate in all the negative stereotypes themselves for their own selfish ends.
