I just finished watching the entire first season of Fallout. Without spoiling it, I can say this is probably my favorite video game adaptation to live action that I’ve seen. Yes there Is an IR subplot for people who care about that. I personally like that the black dude Is a nuanced character. People who play the games and are really interested in the lore are really gonna get a kick out of the show, But they wrote the show in a way that you don’t have to be familiar with the source material to still like it.
Werewolf by Night's Ferocity Unleashed Like Never before in A New Red Band Comic Series This summer, Werewolf By Night embarks on new adventures so violent and bloody, that it can only be told in Marvel’s new Red Band format. In Werewolf by Night, Jack Russell’s new solo ongoing series will be written by Jason Loo, writer of the upcoming one-shot, and drawn by artist Sergio Dávila. Marvel’s premiere horror icon will undergo a startling transformation that will cause his upcoming battles and hunts to be too graphic for some readers. Labeled with a Parental Advisory and polybagged to keep those weak of heart from experiencing its intensity, the book will mark a new chapter in the character’s 50-year storytelling history as Jack gets his claws, fangs, and fur blood-soaked like never before. Amazon Renews Fallout For Season 2 Amazon isn’t putting Fallout back in the vaults. The show, from Kilter Films and executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, has been renewed for Season 2 at Prime Video, the streamer announced Thursday. According to Amazon, the series debuted to stellar viewership, ranking among the service’s top three most-watched titles ever and the most-watched season globally since Rings of Power. “Praise be to our insanely brilliant showrunners, Geneva [Robertson-Dworet] and Graham [Wagner], to our kick-ass cast, to Todd and James and all the legends at Bethesda, and to Jen,Vernon, and the amazing team at Amazon for their incredible support of this show. We can’t wait to blow up the world all over again,” Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, Kilter Films, said in a joint statement. The showrunners themselves added: “Holy sh*t. Thank you to Jonah, Kilter, Bethesda and Amazon for having the courage to make a show that gravely tackles all of society’s most serious problems these days — cannibalism, incest, jello cake. More to come!” Based on the video game series from Bethesda Game Studios, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. 200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind—and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them. The series stars Ella Purnell as Lucy, an optimistic Vault-dweller with an all-American can-do spirit. Her peaceful and idealistic nature is tested when she is forced to the surface to rescue her father. Aaron Moten is Maximus, a young soldier who rises to the rank of squire in the militaristic faction called the Brotherhood of Steel. He will do anything to further the Brotherhood’s goals of bringing law and order to the wasteland. Walton Goggins is the Ghoul, a morally ambiguous bounty hunter who holds within him a 200-year history of the post-nuclear world. These disparate parties collide when chasing an artifact from an enigmatic researcher that has the potential to radically change the power dynamic in this world. “It’s been one of the most spectacular projects we’ve ever been a part of. Jonah and team did such an incredible job, and we’re overjoyed not just by the reaction to the show, but that we get to work with these amazing people even more,” Todd Howard, executive producer, Bethesda Game Studios, said in a statement about the renewal.
Clearly aiming this at a younger audience (which to be fair makes sense because didn't we get into this because of the toys & OG cartoons?).
Absolutely, every single 80s cartoon was an advertisement for toys. Toys r Us in the 80s was separated between the action cartoons (G.I. Joe, Transformers, He-Man etc.) and the kiddy/girly cartoons (CareBears, Rainbow Brite, Jen and the Holograms etc.)
I'm not particularly excited about this one, but here's the official trailer for Atlas, starring Jennifer Lopez.
If any of ya'll are fans of youtuber Tyrone Magnus, you are going to need to skip this video because that man gets COOKED.
