Amazon Studios has released the teaser trailer for its upcoming series adaptation of William Gibson's sci-fi novel The Peripheral.

Picard: Well I am glad the OG TNG cast is back I grew up watching that with my Mother. But will they please stop acting like we give a fuck about Seven of Nine and especially Raffi.

The Peripheral: Looks interesting especially if we get some good IR. We might have to add Chloe Grace to our list of White IR Champs....Granted I am a sucker for the Dive SciFi.

From what I seen when looking up this new show Flynne(Chloe Grace-Moretz) and Wilf(Gary Carr) develope a romance with each other. Don't know if the show will include that. The trailer (per usual)is vague on that AND who he is.

Its especially galling cause Voyager wasn't even good and there is no connection to Picard.

Like yeah Jeri Ryan was hot as Seven of Nine. Janeway was inconsistent as frak. I liked the Doctor and Tuvok the most.
The rest of the characters no and BSG did the plot for Voyager better lol.

Granted I have heard rumors this season is quite good but that was before it was fully edited and finalized so lets hope they didn't butcher it.

 

Somebody said Damian Wayne is what happens when you don’t beat your kids when they’re young. And, I can’t stop laughing.

 

I find Damian a pretty good example of a spoiled rich kid.

I have a feeling that there is a team member not yet announced, it's either going to be The Abomination or maybe Red Hulk. I know Thunderbolt Ross actor William Hurt passed away, but if they are willing to give us a new Black Panther I wouldn't be surprised if they bring in a new Red Hulk.

 

Marvel Studios’ Special Presentation: Werewolf By Night

Marvel Studios will celebrate the spooky season with a new Halloween-themed special coming to Disney Plus called Werewolf by Night. The special will focus on the Marvel Comics character Werewolf by Night, who is a literal werewolf, and will star Gael García Bernal in the title role.

 

Secret Invasion looks good.

Thunderbolts is....well Bucky better be leading. But that team doesn't have much variation in specialty. Ghost is really the only one with a unique school set.
Like okay maybe that wanted a more grounded team but even then at least have a sniper lol.

Werewolf is a throwback better not be Elsa Bloodstone cowering.

Still overall besides The Marvels a lot of this new Marvel material seems more serious.

I’m happy that The Rings of Power seems to be improving with each episode.

 

It's not as good as HOT-D (House Of The Dragons) but the hate it's been getting online is all kinds of ridiculous. The storytelling feels a little meandering right now to me, but I'm sure the show will begin to find its footing pretty soon.

 

It has the problem all sweeping stories have when going backward in time - they spend a lot of time explaining the backstory to the uninitiated.
