Looks promising. I been wanting to see a darker version of the Addams Family and Wednesday "homicidal maniac" Addams is a great choice! Plus I was one of those ones wondering what a teenage Wednesday would be like.

I feel just the opposite, I don't really want to see an actual "evil" Adams Family. The charm of the Adams Family to me was that they were campy misunderstood eccentrics with superhuman abilities, who never meant any real harm. Sending pirana to chew off dicks isn't quirky or campy, it's just fucked up and evil.

When I meant darkER I meant it as in keeping the dark comedic formula that made it work but take away the censorship. And Wednesday Addams was always the most sinister one. Even on the PG rated show. They just decided not to give any imagery to her dark imagination.

King Kong Live-Action Series in Early Development

An iconic monster is headed to Disney+. Disney Branded Television is in very early development on King Kong (working title), a series for Disney+ tracking the original story of the famous ape. Deals have just closed for the project, from James Wan’s Atomic Monster, which would mark the first live-action series set in the Kong universe.

Written by Paper Girls creator Stephany Folsom, King Kong is a serialized action-adventure drama that brings the classic monster story into the modern age, with a return to Skull Island and the dawn of a new Kong.

The series will explore the mythology of King Kong’s origin story and the supernatural mysteries of his home based on IP from Merian C. Cooper’s original books and the new King Kong novelizations by Joe DeVito.

I will go with it if it was like say a 5/6 episode season series. What you think, @SilverSmith ? I think that would work imo.

I prefer Godzilla over King Kong because of his near invulnerability and atomic breath.
Even so, I would be enthusiastic about watching a live-action version of Kong.
