SEE: Official Trailer For Third & Final Season | Apple TV+

''See" is set in a brutal and primitive future, hundreds of years after humankind has lost the ability to see. In season three, almost a year has passed since Baba Voss (Momoa) defeated his nemesis brother Edo and bid farewell to his family to live remotely in the forest. But when a Trivantian scientist develops a new and devastating form of sighted weaponry that threatens the future of humanity, Baba returns to Paya in order to protect his tribe once more.

LOL! I guess with the weird looking CGI it was the right decision to make this an action-comedy. Because it looks good this way. Also because Tatiana Maslany is very underrated actress.

As confirmed during the Marvel Studios panel at San Diego Comic-Con today, two Avengers movies are scheduled for release in 2025.
The first will be called Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, and we'll get it on May 5, 2025. Then Avengers: Secret Wars on November 8, 2025.

    I will watch this illegally.

But Marvel will not see a single cent from me.

If I wanted to watch Fatherless Black Sons and Dead Black Heroes. I watch a Documentary or the News.

Fuck this Black Girl Magic at the expense of Black Male Excellence.

Hmm…….it looks good but it confirms my worst fear that they killed off T’Challa off-screen. I hope I can get over my disappointment of not having T'Challa in it.
Yeah, I'm not really feeling this either. Don't get me wrong the trailer looks good, but I only counted 1 black male "hero" in the entire trailer. I just wish they (Marvel) understood how important a black male (non-sidekick) superhero is right now.

I actually may not see it. At least until it comes to Disney+. I’m at a point where if I see straight black men being “othered” or replaced with something less than what a white male hero would get, I’ll just pass on the project altogether.

I think Marvel got caught up in the emotional, anti-corporate outcry against recasting T’Challa and they caved to casual fan’s request to retire the character prematurely. Shit, they already nerfed the character a good bit. So, getting rid of him altogether in favor of a female lead or a less honorable, second fiddle male lead shouldn’t be surprising.

Has anyone read the Ripperverse comics? I’m hearing a lot about it. I see a lot of conservatives loving it. That has my spider-sense tingling. I want to see a brotha’ blow up in this space. But, not if it’s a case of “Not all skin folk are kin folk.” Like, will these be black comics that make con-servative whites feel good about being cluelessly racist or will these be genuinely good comics?

If so, I’d rather support Black Sands and Milestone.

You answered your own question on this. If what currently passes for conservatives (especially whites ones) are on board with this, then it definitely isn't something worth supporting. However if you buy into all that "bring back them good old days" nonsense then might be up your alley.

Captain America: NEW WORLD ORDER is the film to see that. I didn't see any problem with the trailer for BP 2. Of course they are going to do a lot of pandering in it but they pretty much did it in the first one as well. They are going with a female Black Panther so they will ramp it up. Liberals love pandering to the black females of the community. It's politics. Also black female fanbases wants the pedal stool, black girl magic treatment. They're reading the audience and giving it to them. lol.

As Samson said everything we now see or heard rumors about Black Panther 2 is based off an in the heat of the moment emotional corporate response. No politics involved in this. I'm personally waiting until the movie is out to give my verdict on this, especially if Marvel sticks to not recasting T'Challa past this movie. If no hint for any recasting in a post credit scene then they are fucking themselves. There is no logical reason not to recast T'Challa. He's the central focus in which all things Wakanda revolve around, even when he's temporarily out of the spotlight. Too many stories & world building to do in the MCU that would include T'Challa. Both Marvel & MCU fans who are currently operating off emotions aren't seeing the big picture for the long run for Black Panther & Wakanda in the MCU.

The ratio is 7 to 1 I believe in terms of Billed Black Females to Black Males. There is suppose to be a
Killmonger Cameo on the Ancestral Plane and T'Challa son showing up (age is unclear right now, hopefully at least Morgan Stark Age but I suppose with Kang they can cheat on aging up)

I am also not politically aligned with RIppa. I suppose I can respect putting your money where your mouth is and not just bitching. Assuming this isn't a grift.

I mean Rippa has to show he can deliver comics on a regular basis with actually good writing. I also argue starting a universe is easy...it gets complicated after you have had years of work especially from multiple authors. The Cons are like this will challenge Marvel and DC but lets see where the Rippaverse is in 5 years lol.

Did you hear about the secret son rumor? I read some of it and it almost sounds like that is something they would do. Don't know if he'll be Azria though.

Yeah I heard the supposed leaks & rumors. Unless it's some adult son from an alternate timeline (since they have revealed the name of Phases 4, 5 & 6 combined is the Multiverse Saga) that's not going to work in any way IMO. Claiming that he & Nakia had/have a son serves no purpose for any ongoing stories for the larger MCU. Clearly they are doing Wakanda vs Atlantis in this movie and if another of the rumors claiming Doctor Doom gets his MCU introduction in an end credit, that's yet another T'Challa centric storyline & villain to be explored in a third movie or plays out in larger MCU. And we haven't even gotten to any of the Interstellar Empire of Wakanda stuff they could set up that puts T'Challa & Wakanda as a whole on the cosmic level playing field ala the Skrulls, the Kree & the S'hiar.

Marvel & Dark Horse Line Up One-Shots For Halloween

Both Marvel Comics and Dark Horse Comics have supernatural-themed one-shots lined up for this coming October.

Mike Mignola, artist Rachele Aragno, and colorist Dave Stewart introduce a new character and a whole new creepy world in Leonide the Vampyr: Miracle at the Crow’s Head, coming from Dark Horse on October 5.

The story, which is outside the continuity of Mignola’s Hellboy and other series, is set in a seaside village whose calm life is shattered when a shipwreck deposits a young vampire girl in their midst.

Marvel’s Crypt of Shadows #1 is an homage to the 1970s anthology series of the same name. This giant-sized comic will include stories about Moon Knight, Wolverine, Elsa Bloodstone, Man-Thing, and Werewolf by Night, as well as an encore appearance by Blade’s daughter Bloodline, who first appeared in Free Comic Book Day: Avengers/X-Men #1.

Crypt of Shadows #1 will go on sale on October 19 with a main cover by Leinil Francis Yu.

That's why I don't think if they are going with his son as the permanently new BP then I don't think it will be the story arc of Azria. It doesn't look like at least to me they are going to keep Shuri as the new Black Panther and the actress herself isn't interested in that happening anyway.

That's why I'm waiting until the movie actually comes out before giving my final verdict on how Marvel handles things going forward. There are too many decisions & reactions going on due to Chadwick's death both on the professional movie making end as well as on the fan end of things when it comes to the direction of the Black Panther franchise. Just waiting to see if two years removed from Chadwick's death if actual non emotional thinking kicked in on Marvel's end to give the character of T'Challa an actual character/story arc in the MCU in the same way they gave Tony Stark & Steve Rogers before "retiring" the character from the spotlight like those characters.
