Exactly. Still would love to see a proper live action take on Darkseid & the rest of the Fourth World pantheon.
See — Season 3 Official Teaser | Apple TV+ The dystopian drama ends with season 3, promising a ''deeply satisfying conclusion''.
It took an absolute eternity for "SEE" season 2 to air. Only "Carnival Row" season 2 can compare in the delay between S1 & S2. I remember S1 of"SEE"was one of the first apple+ original shows in 2018 right?
Season 1 premiered in 2019. The pandemic probably caused the long gap between seasons, which hurt the show's momentum. It didn't help matters either that the promotional campaign was nonexistent.
The Boys TV Series is 100 times better than the comic book series and that's even without the whole story not yet playing out to the end.
Yeah they took the idea and made it better. The Comics is just so spiteful and disdainful of Supes that it ruins the message. Especially when you mix in all the gore and sex that is just to be disturbing and comedic.
The Boys Season 3 is/was the best season thus far. A lot of character development & unexpected overall story progression. Now the wait for Season 4.
It was good up until that final battle. They made some very stupid decisions during that fight. Especially, since they’re supposed to be seasoned soldiers. It felt like the writers couldn’t figure out a way to get where they wanted to go and ended up hiding behind the action. A little more thought behind the logic of how a team of actual fighters would react in that situation would’ve made, what was shaping up to be a good season finale, great.
I thought the finale of "The Boys" was one of the better episodes of the entire series. What would have U preferred they do in the last fight scene? It played out plausibly to me. Butcher and Homelander behaved characteristicly via Ryan right?!?
