For now i think she is just directing, she isn't sharing a lot details about the cast yet, the article only talk about Kid Cudi being casted. A least KC said that the script is great. Maybe he is just doing this as a favor to a friend but i'm assuming that if the script or his role was really bad he could just kindly decline or give some excuse about being working with his music. I wouldn't be surprise if he end up playing himself as a famous celebrity, i hope not because he already did it before in Don't Look Up and Hollywood could give him more range with his acting roles.
TOPSIDE (2022) Celine Held, Drama Movie Heavy topic: Deep in the underbelly of New York City, a 5-year-old girl and her mother live among people who have claimed the abandoned subway tunnels as their home. When a sudden eviction forces them above ground, their world is thrown into chaos.
There is no chance I'm watching that movie. That is GUARANTEED to be excruciating and have a depressing ending LOL
Movie leaked online there is some IR action in it. https://whitewomenblackmen.com/foru...cenes-in-tv-movies.27115/page-23#post-1163683
Anyone else going to see "X" tonight?!? It has a black executive producer in Kid Cudi who also stars in it and has earned a 96% score on Rotten Tomatoes with film experts & critics!! The movie is classified as a horror/slasher so my fears about it being a comedic parody have been debunked to my delight!!! Please consider going to $upport this A24 indy because we want more horror films in the IR genre right?!?
There's overall three sex scenes with Kid Cudi. He has sex with Brittany Snow, Mia Goth, and Jenna Ortega. Only Brittany and Mia get naked though.
The horror/suspense aspect of "X" should not be understated . . . the kills were very satisfying in that they were plot-integrated death scenes as more & more of the plot unfolded!! Originally, I had mistakenly thought "X" was a horror vampire movie or monster movie lol One of these thespians (no spoilers) deserves Oscar recognition for this performance . . . Ti West has already begun post-production of "Pearl" the prequel to "X" which is shown in a post credit scene teaser. Everything was shot during COVID-19 quarantine down in New Zealand with the film professionals of "Avatar #2: Moons of Pandora". Ti West has a great relationship with A24 and says he has plans to make a trilogy of this groundbreaking film which has garnered such rave reviews from the major movie publications. GO $UPPORT THIS MOVIE!! ELEVATED HORROR AT ITS ZENITH!!
Watching a very compelling Suspense/Drama on Lifetime now . . . "Saving my Daughter" which was shot last year. The protagonist has an Afro-latino classmate that has finally made his romantic intentions public in their Senior year after years of playful flirtation . . . but is there a darker more ominous undertone to his objectives?
Will and Margot had great chemistry, as I said in the past I think this movie was the beginning of modern WW/BM pairings in the mainstream.
Watching the 1st half of "Playing With Beethoven" a couple hours ago... Is just me or is the female co-lead a legit PAWG? She's looking kinda thick when they show shots of her walking from behind.
How did you like it? I watched this a couple months ago and it was underrated. Didn't expect the performances to be so solid.
Aside of the male co-lead's constant shitting on his dad & his unnecessary victim complex, yeah "Playing With Beethoven" was solid. Were the 2 lead characters High School age or were they college age? I wasn't 100% sure. LOL, finally an appropriate role for Sam Richardson. The last 3 films/TV show I've seen where he was involved in a IR, I've criticized his lack of leading man looks for those roles, pointing out he's a character actor. Watching this trailer for "Senior Year", I didn't feel the need to do that. He fits fine.
