Don't think Paramount has the Budget for this to be good lol.

Money ain't a thang. ViacomCBS Streaming, the parent company of Paramount Plus and Pluto TV, reported Q3 earnings of more than $6 billion.

They spent 40 million dollars in production in 2019 and additional millions in post production in 2020. What I read is that Paramount wants the show to be their flagship Game Of Thrones level show to push their streaming service.

If that's the case, the Halo show will be a flop.

Sure, GOT didn't stick the landing but at one time it was the most popular show in the world. It also brought in 2.2 Billion dollars in revenue for HBO.
If Halo makes even a quarter of GOT numbers Paramount will be very happy.

I wish Keanu would’ve done something different with his hair. He looks too much like John Wick.

Netflix Renews Arcane For Season 2

Fresh off a suspenseful cliffhanger, Netflix has renewed Riot Games’ League of Legends animated series Arcane.

The series, which made its debut earlier in November, is set in the utopian region of League of Legends realms Piltover and the oppressed underground of Zaun.

Arcane, animated by Fortiche Productions, follows the origins of popular League champions sisters Jinx and Vi as they seek to reunite. Overcoming the world of Arcane is a dark power that brings on violence and chaos, and threatens to keep the sisters apart.

I didn't know much about the game & it's lore prior to watching. Season 1 was some great storytelling, world building ( at least for the one city the story was set in) and compelling character development. Very interested in see more & if they work in other characters from greater Runeterra.

I didn't know diddlysquat about the game or its lore before watching this series. I was pleasantly surprised by how well this show was done. I'm still amazed by how well the animation was able to caption action, emotion, and subtle expression. I also liked how the shows managed to have a diverse and large female cast without it feeling like they were trying to make some kind of social statement.

    On a spoiler note:
I know that Jinx had a ton of trauma (dead parents, living in a hell hole, seemingly abandoned by her sister, and raised by a villain) but that crazy chick was making "toy grenades" before the bulk of her drama occurred. I don't know if that fantasy city has child psychologists, but without some serious help, she was always going to grow up to be batshit crazy.
