Foreign leaders couldn't get a read on Trump and it was Milley's job to reassure them the Joint Chiefs and the Pentagon would keep him in check.

I don't think it works as easily as Lauren making it seem @ColiBreh1.
Her analysis is correct but its only correct insofar as she misses what the Libs were trying to do.

By shifting center O'Toole dodged the normal attack lines from Trudeau which Trudeau was trying to use against the Cons.
Seeing as the Cons got the same amount of seats that suggest they did peel off some Centrist types but they lost a roughly equivalent amount to the Right.

The election ground was simply just not that favorable for the Cons because Trudeau is the one who gets to call the snap elections.
All this really suggest is that Libs response to Covid and the issues in Canada is average and everyone is in a holding pattern.
