BM/WW IR sightings on TV

To me that doesn't matter. I need to see introductions and buildup of the characters and relationship in order to actually care. This ain't porn. I would want to get to know the world they inhabit first.

 

This one may be even better.

She doesn't look very smart, giving the typical dumb blonde vibe and i know this isn't truth with every woman. I know that some girls pick the fboy because they think they can change him, i guess she watched a lot Hollywood movies with this narrative and was brainwashed lol. I can't help myself but think that part of the reason why she picked that other guy was because he is white. Josh is better without her.

 

Josh got lucky, she turned him down choosing generic # 100 white man but it would have been far worse if she chosen Josh and then cheat him

 

Damn shame that you can be the kindest and most upstanding Black man but some douchebag white dude can still get picked over you. And yes I also think race played a part in her choice. But the white guy made her look like a clown so there is justice in that. And she had to acknowledge that Josh was the better guy.

 

She had to acknowledge that Josh was the better guy because she was so embarassed by the fboy. She clowned herself. It's good that not every WW is exactly like her and know how make a smart choice. Josh is the only person in this situation that end up looking good, the female audience probably is on his side after this. It's funny that i can see women probably thinking "come to my home, i can take care of you better that this dumbass chick. You deserve so much better"lol

 

I don't think that's the case, but wouldn't surprise me.

 

I don't know if this was mentioned but there is interracial angle in Nine Perfect Strangers with Samara Weaving

She seemed to friendzone Josh pretty much immediately. But I think it really just came down to the fact that she wanted a frat boy type rather than a grown man husband material type that Josh seemed to be. When she didn't just immediately ignore Garrett after all the other guys in the house told her he's fake and a different person when she isn't around I knew she was going to pick Garrett at that point.

I watched the season finale of "The Republic of Sarah" last night....

Let's hope the show gets renewed for a 2nd season.

 

It already got cancelled. Just another show that wasted a WW/BM pairing. That's why I cherish the shows that don't.

Hilariously enough getting to it by the end of the first season is fast especially for CW.

 

That's what I was like. The show was okay overall though. It averaged around 326,000 viewers according to tvline. I think the problem is that it was a political YA show. It was too far away from the CW main audience for them to see anything above 500,000. I think it would've worked if Grover was a main character and the show was about Sarah AND him. That would've been closer to what CW audiences would be looking for.

That scene before the morning after scene he had with Sarah showed their chemistry and how important his character is to the Sarah character.


BTW did anyone catch that slight smirk on Sarah's face at the end? She was like 'Yes I finally got Grover to touch me!'. lol.


But knowing Hollywood with IR between bm/ww on TV if they did get a season 2 they would've probably had Grover blow it off as just hot drunk sex. lol.

 

@darkcurry I do like that she is the one who really wants to bang and get with him. That is a nice change of pace even if yes it took all season for them to have sex.
