Eidos-Montréal has released a new gameplay cinematic building on June’s global reveal of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy at E3, picking up the story with Star-Lord and the Guardians as they commence their plan to negotiate with Lady Hellbender: leader of the Hellraisers, queen of Seknarf Nine and notorious monster collector.
One of the few smart moves Warner Brothers made concerning their live action comic movies was snatching up James Gunn after the angry neckbeard cult temporarily got him fired from Disney/Marvel. His Suicide Squad joint is 100 times better than the first Ayers/Warner version that was put out for their DCEU.
I wasn't prepared for the level and frequency of violence in this movie, I'm only familiar with James Gunn's work on the Guardian movies, so I was kind of expecting something like that. In my old age, I'm just not into "buckets of blood" level violence in movies or on tv anymore.
The violence didn't bother me in the least considering it's about super criminals being forced into taking on wet works missions. Plus I've seen some of Gunn's pre-Marvel/Guardians work, so this was him returning to form compared to him toning things down for the Guardians movies. Wouldn't mind seeing his take on other lesser known DC properties like Shade the Changing Man or maybe even the Question with both original Vic Sage version & current Renee Montoya take in the mix.
I heard that several times already today. And I actually thought the first one was pretty cool. I will be going to see Gunn's version later tonight.
You got an actual story with interesting character development. Watch the end credits or rather the second one.
Agent Carter looking fierce with a big upper body while T'Challa all soyed out. Once you see the agenda, you can't unsee it
Blade Runner: Black Lotus In Los Angeles 2032, a young woman wakes up with no memories and possessing deadly skills. The only clues to her mystery are a locked data device and a tattoo of a black lotus. Putting together the pieces, she must hunt down the people responsible for her brutal and bloody past to find the truth of her lost identity.
The Suicide Squad was The Boys level of vulgarity, violence and comedy. I must say James Gunn gets MAJOR pointers from me with how he handled Cena and Elba in this movie.
Netflix has dropped The Witcher: Nightmare of Wolf's official trailer, featuring demons, beasts, sorcery, and a young Vesemir. The events of Nightmare of the Wolf transpired many years before those of The Witcher.
HBO Max has released a first look teaser for season three of the Max Original Doom Patrol. The first three episodes of season three will debut Thursday, Sep 23rd, with subsequent episodes launching weekly every Thursday through November 11 on the platform.
"Pillars of the Earth" you can see the 2009 version of her . . . and her nude scenes are tastefully shot Magnificent work of medieval fiction too with an all-star screenwriter as well as cast. Check it out on Starz On Demand or Youtube!!
Loved “What if?” Shit, I’d be down for a whole Captain Carter live action movie if they kept that same kind of energy and action choreography. Bump up the writing quality a bit (there’s only so much you can do with 30 minutes) and that shit would be lit. Hated the first episode of this season’s Titans. Do the writers know anything about these characters or are they just figuring they’d do whatever? It looks like we ought to get used to seeing average looking actresses portray above average looking characters. Wouldn’t want to make anyone feel insecure. The woman playing Barbra Gordon is as plain and everyday as they come.
