He is obviously playing Rober Dubois aka Bloodsport so why did they call him a new character? lol. Unless they mean new to Suicide Squad.
Yeah, that. To the best of my knowledge, he has never been a part of the squad. _________________________________________________________________________ Here's the latest teaser trailer for Mortal Kombat, featuring scenes with Sub-Zero(Joe Taslim) and Kano (Josh Lawson).
Word is that the role Sylvester Stallone has is voicing King Shark. Definitely sounds like that could be him based on the brief speaking part in the trailer.
Can we all just take a minute to acknowledge the sheer amount of quality, live action, superhero content we have available to us, whenever and wherever, we want to watch it? This past week alone we had three superhero shows, and one huge superhero movie on TV. And, all of it is well done. Shiiiiiiidddd, I remember it wasn’t too long ago that we would’ve been stoked for something as weak as Whedon’s Justice League. Pick that mutha fucka up from 2017 and drop that bitch in 1997 or even 2007 and we’d be making all kinds of excuses for it because we’d be remembering it fondly as being fun with great action. We used to get the occasional Batman movie and some middling to good cartoons. That’s it. That’s all. Now, gtfoh nerd. We spoiled af, now. ...lol
Yep, and every year someone says superhero fatigue is going to set in soon. Yet, every year something comes along to draw everyone back in.
Keeping the material fresh helps. Also they change as far as storytelling and action goes to keep up with the times.
I think this pandemic has also helped gave a pretty massive break in superhero content and reset everyone. Longs as the quality stays up and the material stays fresh it can be a good run.

Starz Cancels American Gods The TV gods have turned their favor away from American Gods, at least for now. The series adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s novel starring Ricky Whittle and Ian McShane will not return for a fourth season on Starz, the network confirmed Monday. The news of the premature end to the often-troubled series is not altogether unexpected and follows the Season 3 finale on March 21. Spoiler That season-ender saw Whittle’s Shadow Moon seemingly killed after a vigil at the mythical Tree of Life for his seemingly deceased and estranged father, Mr. Wednesday/Odin, played by McShane. A pivotal point in Gaiman’s book, the incident set up American Gods‘ fourth season with Wednesday taking advantage of Shadow Moon’s sacrifice for Wednesday’s own resurgence in the battle against the New Gods. “Everyone at Starz is grateful to the dedicated cast and crew, and our partners at Fremantle who brought author and executive producer Neil Gaiman’s ever-relevant story to life that speaks to the cultural climate of our country,” stated a network spokesperson. https://tinyurl.com/as3xjt3d
