Agree. Trump exposed the GOP for what it really believes in. He would never have got this far if the GOP really believed their hype.

 

There was a time I would have agreed with your assessment of the Dems but based on what I am hearing they plan to pas the COVID rescue package with orw/o the support of the GOP. I say "hurray"

I guess affordable health care as a stepping stone to single payer, pushing for a $15 minimum wage (HRC began the push, not Bernie), a $2K stimulus and a COVID rescue package does absolutely nothing for the "working class."

 

These measures definitely help. I just want to see Democrats push a maximalist approach and make broader reforms, because their voter mandates are always slim and they often lose their majority during the off year elections.

I honestly do not understand the pure hatred of this guy. All he's ever wanted was working class people to get free Healthcare and education.
Also a covid vaccine is the one sure fire way that working class people can actually go back to work.

 

I prefer they kept that same energy and succeeded.
They run purely on hate and nothing else. They follow a baffoon who openly used and abused them. In four years the only thing he accomplished was tax cuts for the rich that's literally it yet they follow him anyway. There's nothing to repent because they traded any shred of humanity to hate people for not being white and straight.

 

They won't. It's all one party at this point. Just corporatist sympathizer who despise the common folk. Nothing made it more clear than this pandemic. While people starve and die from a virus these people take their sweet time giving a desperate public 1800 dollars over the course of a year. Even when the "good guys" gain power they have to negotiate with themselves to do right by the people that got them there. They simply do not give a solitary fuck it's all theater for them.

Won't happen. That feeling/attitude was there long before Trump. He just rode it all the way to the presidency.
