The real question is which one could you afford? The amount of food a full-size dragon would need would be staggering, they would probably need to eat the equivalent of 4 cows per day and a cow costs about $800 each, so doing the quick math that means it would cost you over $1.1 million to feed a dragon per year. A dire wolf is about the size of a medium-size bear so it probably only needs about 50-60 pounds of meat per day, costing about $8000-$10,000 per year.
When you break it down in those type of numbers even if you use some sort of a Westeros exchange rate from the Iron Bank of Braavos against the modern $USD it makes having a direwolf a much easier decision economically.
So there is a casting rumor on YouTube this weekend According to the rumors this weekend on YouTube then yes. It's funny and clever as it was the ONLY way to plausibly present more major BLACK characters in a Game of Thrones prequel like "House of the Dragon" whilst remaining consistent with the preceding series that launched the most successful cable series of all time "Game of Thrones" . . . so where are all the Black or biracial black characters in season 1 - 8? Make the Black characters House Velaryon (rotflmao) since that house was completely ignored by Dan & Dave anyway as well as George RR Martin too when they produced the main series. Now I'm of the opinion that this Danny Sapotnik guy should be cast as Ser Criston Cole "The Kingmaker" rather than Lord Corlys Velaryon "The Sea Snake" but that's just my educated opinion because of how Corlys's kids are specifically mentioned as the most distinctively pure Valyrian looking kids ever in the entire Targaryen family. But hey . . . the more blacks and biracial blacks the better perhaps?? However this would fly in the face of my coveted tinfoil theory that King Viserys Targaryen III is still alive under the false identity of the DarkStar ~ Ser Gerold Dayne because of the exact & specific facial features he shares with Prince Laenor Velaryon . . . were they both born by Targaryen royalty?? Read "Fire & Blood" to see the source material for this upcoming HBO/AT&T prequel. There is link on YouTube for reference to this new casting rumor about "House of the Dragon". Check it out and let us know what you think OK? I'm still hoping this Danny guy gets the role of Ser Christian Cole though lol.
Bump . . . any thoughts on this Black Valyrian royal house in the upcoming HBO adaptation of "Fire & Blood" in the aptly named "House of the Dragon"?
