I totally recall that very often haters of the last president had plenty to say/wish about him and his family's well being including often calling him, his wife and daughters apes.

So, stopping flights from China in February was "failure to respond"? So, the entire country going on lockdown to "flatten the curve" was "failure to respond"? And boy the curve is still flattening 7-8 months later.

The fact the entire world's economy broke down because of the lockdowns worldwide would have preserved our economy?? TDK, do you even read what you write? It makes zero sense. There is not a damn thing ANY president could have done to preserve our economy during this pandemic.

Funny China's economy is bouncing back. Why? Because they shut down everywhere until they got everything under control.

 

Trump could have paid out more than one emergency relief fund to small businesses and workers as a stipend until the economy opened back up.
Everything Trump did was months late and lacked any federal strategy. He passed everything off to the states to avoid blame.

 

Also... I'm pretty sure the US airlines had already decided to suspend service to/from China before this president decided to block airline travel between the US and China. He's such an idiot.

And once the disease had actually made it state side, he took immediate action to...completely downplay it and call it a hoax. Even as the disease spread like wildfire and the economy was careening into a ditch, Trump thought it more responsible to play golf and rage tweet than to show any kind of actual leadership on the issue. But God forbid that he actually take advice from someone who knows more about something than he thinks he does. If he realized that isn't nearly as smart as he thinks he is and that his knowledge is lacking (at best) we'd be much better off.

And even now, despite literally catching the damn disease getting airlifted to the hospital, he is still having super-spreader events around the country so that he can keep his ego sufficiently boosted. It takes an especially stupid person to go through something like that yet learn absolutely nothing from the experience.
