And according to the CDC, 94% of the people who died "from" COVID had, on average, 2.6 co-morbidities. Do you know what that means? it means 50% of those people had AT LEAST 3 other underlying issues.

Coupled with some governors forcing nursing homes to take COVID patients, causing mass casualties of older people.

Death shouldn't be the only metric because unlike the flu the lasting effects are detrimental to your health. It leaves holes in the lungs people never breathe the same again. Funny how so many of y'all want to right this off as something less than what it is with literally no medical or scientific training. Scientist and medical professionals across the world have reached a consensus on the virus yet keyboard warriors who have no actual qualifications or proof outside of unsupported right propaganda insist on spreading misinformation. Even if what you say is actually correct this country has a huge obese population this country has a huge population of people with untreated illnesses because of the poor health care system so the same measures should be taken to protect those people from a highly contagious virus. So much for the pro life party

Someone with hypertension would have lived a long life with medication until they got Covid. If a person with hypertension gets Covid and dies, the cause of death is Covid.

We keep having the same conversation as if you want to lower the death rate of Covid.

If you are old and on your natural path to live to be 99 (and in my mother's family, that is the norm) and at 75 get Covid. You died of Covid.

It's been shown Trump officials have interfered with CDC on Covid reporting. So please don't buy into it. You are way under the influence. We may not get you back.

Exactly, if underlying conditions were the cause of death they wouldn't be called "underlying conditions."

I do not know why this is so hard for people to understand.

Because they aren't thinkers. They are feelers. They operate based on how they "feel" about everything & everyone around them. And it's always the negative emotions (anger, fear, hatred) that drives their "logic".

Exactly. I hate how some people have been talking as if it’s perfectly ok for someone to die of Covid because he had „underlying conditions“.
I know a 46 y/o man who died of Covid. He was a diabetic and had hypertension. Both were medically well managed and not stopping him from living his life normally. He has 3 kids. Most adults have one underlying condition or the other when they get to a certain age. We’re not talking of terminally ill cancer patients here.

Sums it up perfectly. People just look at the mortality rate and forget that a lot of the “cured” people aren’t healthy and will never be again.
Then the pro life issue...I’ve been saying I don’t understand how “pro-lifers” can be so nonchalant about lives lost.

Absolutely! It's the heights of ridiculous arguments/reasoning. Nowadays, people who are HIV positive and have other STDs with treatment live a lot longer. However, everyone (rightfully) still does what they can to avoid getting those diseases. It's simply mindboggling how some throw out lame attempts to minimize COVID-19 and related deaths. This, all because they're worshipping someone who's undoubtedly the stupidest POTUS ever as he continues his lame attempts to sell snake oil.

Agreed! They're so determined to sell COVID-19 as no big deal that they'll say anything.

A couple days ago Katrina Pierson & other black surrogates for Trump shouted out Ice Cube for working with the Trump campaign on the Platinum Plan.

Well Ice Cube tweeted this Yesterday, than Ice Cube was trending all day on Twitter:

Not surprising, you got both black & white Liberals/Dems Twitter slandering him and calling him all types of names.

You can't say anything positive about Trump on a public forum because the jackals will go after you all day and night that you're a "POS Trump supporter". Ice Cube never mentioned he was a Trump supporter nor that he was voting for Trump. He just tweeted that and the Libs are all over him for it. It's a sickness.

One can only hope the hate being thrown his way wakes him up a bit and he pushes back on these jackals who make all sorts of assumptions posting ONE tweet that shows the president in a positive light.

No one gives him credit because we know it's utter horseshit. Anyone who is quoted as not wanting black hands to touch his money or call for the death penalty on 5 kids even after it was proven they didn't do it and also refused to rent to black and brown people does not change their opinion of them in their 70s.
Seriously what metric are you using?

Trump just held a rally telling housewives he saved their communities from crime because he blocked fixed income housing to be built there.

Break the code: Poor people+ low income housing = Black and Brown folk = CRIMINALS.

Trump is a racist and anyone who supports him is one too.

Look up what the KY Bail Project is, then reconsider the idiocy of your post.

Agreed, and agreed! I'll be the first to admit that people can change, but we've seen absolutely nothing from him that remotely suggests that he's even close to seeing blacks as equal to him. Him acting as if he's so good to blacks (and minorities in general is a joke. Actions speak much louder than words, and we know his actions do absolutely nothing for us (actually for most people, including many of his base in poverty).

    Preach!

Totally racist, indeed. Also... Gotta love when his supporters talk about hate seeing as Trump continues to be the source of so much hate. I refuse to believe that his supporters don't see it. No doubt in my mind that they choose to ignore his BS as there's simply far too much, and too often for anyone to miss.

Yet another example (amongst the thousands) where his disciples go ghost.
