...And he got that medicine much quicker than any other American would. And not only that but it didn't cost him a dime out of pocket. Not sure if you know this or not but for a lot of people, medical bills can literally bankrupt a person. For too many people, that plays a major role in whether they decide to seek medical treatment for anything, not just potentially lethal infectious diseases.

That is still something that the president if the United States does not have to worry about. At all. That is the thing that you seem to have a hard time grasping but all I can do is explain it for you; I can't understand it for you.

Your problem isn't with me, it's with objective reality that the president of the United States has access to better healthcare than 99.9% of the population. Again, all I can do is explain that to you but I cannot understand that for you.

    • This isn't March. Testing and treatment is quick. Trump's treatment was standard. Everyone can see you're ignoring the only relevant fact here.
    • You're crying about Trump not costing him a dime out of pocket. I'll be damned but I searched all over the forums and I didn't see one post from you complaining about anyone else in the govt getting free health care. This is on top of the Trump not receiving a salary.
    • Covid testing and treatment is free
    • I have no problem with you. You want to lap dog celebrities that's your business. This is America, more power to you!

"It was the best weekend, folks. The best weekend. A tremendous weekend. A perfectly coordinated weekend. Sleepy Joe would never have a weekend like this. Far-left Democrats want to abolish the weekend. Sad!!"

Regeneron is not standard and for the other ones the timeline isn’t standard.

That's about the most apt description of Trump that I've seen in a long time.

Regeneron and everything else Trump was given is not unusual treatment for high risk Covid-19 infections.
Some people with Trump Derangement Syndrome honestly think doctors will administer medicine to the President of the United States that hasn't been given to thousands of other high risk Covid 19 patients.

While I'm not one to wish anything bad on anyone, I don't have any pity for him IF he actually has/had it. IF he actually got covid, he brought it on himself. He treated it like a joke, put himself and, more importantly, others at risk with his irresponsible and reckless behavior. If his bullshit finally caught up with him and bit him in the ass, it's no one's fault but his own.

To be honest, I'm just not buying it without some actual proof. I'd have to see proof from a reliable source, and there's for damn sure nothing trustworthy about Trump, his White House minions, his so-called doctor, or Fox news/other questionable media sources. They all lie so much, the truth is beyond them. It's not hard to believe Trump would lie about having covid, because it definitely sounds like something he would do. He lies about every damn thing else.

There are a lot of motives he could have for lying about it. It could be to make light of the dangers of covid in effort to take the heat off himself for refusing to handle his responsibilities, and for the blatant disregard for the lives of so many people who suffered so much avoidable loss and death. He could also be doing it for sympathy—even though he has no sympathy/empathy for anyone else, his narcissistic ass would no doubt expect everyone to feel sorry for him. Besides, if he's "suffering", folks should be willing to cut his incompetent ass some slack and not be so "mean" to him. It could also be a way to avoid any more "debates"—even though the debate was a pathetic excuse for one, the general consensus is that he lost, and everyone knows what a blow to his ego that had to be. lol Everything that fool does (no matter how ridiculous) is calculated and self-serving, and lying about having covid, regardless of the reason, is something I wouldn't put past his pathological-lying ass. It makes no sense to trust anything that comes out of his mouth or the mouths of anyone who speaks on his behalf. He's proven time and time again that he can't be trusted.

This is exactly why I don't feel even remotely sorry for him. If he gets sick, he'll get the absolute best medical treatment that our tax dollars can buy, so for him to play it off as no big deal is exactly what pisses me off the most about him. And unlike the rest of us, he doesn't have to worry about being bankrupt from medical expenses because treatment is too expensive. Why some people either cannot or will not understand that the president of the United States gets special treatment is honestly lost on me.

But his complete lack of empathy on this is damn near cartoonish. This might be the most "let them eat cake" type bullshit to come out of this administration so far.

Agreed, and it's infuriating. I suppose it's our own fault for being a bunch of "virtual nobodies" who aren't as deserving as he is. smh

Trump holding the stimulus hostage until (unless) he wins re-election is a real dick move and stupid on his part, especially since a lot of jobs of people who support him may be in jeopardy.

Agreed! And of course the moron spewed the usual garbage about how the economy is so great and so on. If the economy was truly great (for everyone)... There would be no need for mention of a stimulus.

Some people with Trump hypnotic syndrome don’t know that Regeneron is an experimental drug which has not even got emergency approval and is definitely not available to the common man.
Oh yeah and tell me again, does he support health insurance for all?

At this point, he's just writing Biden's campaign ads for him.

Before reading the last several pages of this thread, I thought my hatred for the Clintons knew no bounds. I was so wrong. Even I wouldn't be saying the things you all are saying if Hillary was POTUS and contracted COVID.

Regardless of WHO holds the position, any high ranking political figure is going to receive the best medical care available. Regardless of how you feel about the man, Trump is STILL the POTUS and will therefore be treated differently, because he is the "leader of the free world". Boris Johnson I'm sure was giving the best medical care his country could give him when he came down with it (and wouldn't you know, England has socialized medicine).

The hatred you have for this man is unreal.

Were you all on here complaining that RBG was given the best medical treatment for her condition?? Treatments us little folks can't get?? Because if you weren't, then you all are hypocrites.

My two uncles passed away from pancreatic cancer. I know a friend from HS who is currently dying from pancreatic cancer. But, am I on here complaining that a Supreme Court Justice received way better medical care than anyone I know? Was I on here complaining that the tens of thousands of people who die from all sorts of cancers every year in the US didn't get the treatment RBG did?? NO. Of course she's going to receive better medical care. She was a Supreme Court Justice. Her job mattered, unlike our jobs.

So, put aside your hate for the man for 30 seconds to a minute and be grown up about the fact that he IS the POTUS and he WILL be treated differently and better because he is a high-ranking official. I cannot stand my governor, but if he were to contract COVID, I wouldn't be complaining that he got better care than the "little people" of my state.

Grow the fuck up, people. He's the leader of the country (whether you like it or not) and any leader from any country would be treated similarly.
