I am curious as to why Caribbean blacks are more likely than African blacks to date whites. Do you think it`s a reflection of how the two groups, African blacks and Caribbean blacks,relate to women?

 

Must be the sex tours of ww in the last 60 years. Also when they fought for colonial powers they met ww in British or French cities.

To be fair I think wm started the sex tours with those trips to Thailand and more lately the Phillipines. European ww probably go to Africa because it`s close and American ww go to the Caribbean, particularly Jamaica.

 

Let`s face it. Poor people are exploited in many different ways. It`s not fair but it happens.

Some of those African countries are now quarantining Europeans, because of Corona virus.
It makes a lot of sense, giving the contact they have with the local population.

I think it’s because Africans in the UK tend to be more deeply rooted in culture/tradition/religion than Caribbean’s in the UK. They also tend to be more recent immigrants overall than Caribbeans. So I think among the African community it’s more of a group value to be endogamous than with Caribbean men. It’s not a matter of colour really but a matter of how important is your language/culture/tradition from “back home” to you. Disclaimer, I’m not British so that’s my outside observation. I do know quite a number of Africans in the UK and how they live. They tend to really stick to their own a lot kind of like Turkish people in Germany. Plus there are so many of them it’s easy to preserve culture, language and tradition and find suitable partners. And of course family pressure...

 

That's compared to the French African troops who occupied the Ruhr region almost 100 years ago.

 

I don’t know about that and it certainly didn’t leave any significant African population in that region from those days.

I know West Germany was partly occupied by the French and the French have always had mercenaries from ex French colonies. I just don’t quite get how it relates to my post above about black people in the UK and who they marry.

 

code crap LOLLLLL Too funny!! That's like the hairstyle or as some mentioned taste in music. Some of the most racist mofos I've known were big R&B/Jazz/Blues/Hip Hop fans that doesn't mean their taste in music crosses over to the men they want to be with.

Usually, I see things (online profiles) like...I'm open to all ethnicities or some sort of thing like that. Then there's me who states, "Yes, I do date black men"

IDK, people seem to be more straight up about things. But I'm old and don't have time to be worrying about what other people think.

 

The colonial soldiers are not mercenaries. From 1919 to 1930 those soldiers fathered those children of German mothers.

 

Hitler sterilized them in 1937.

 

What I can say is that there hasn’t been a significant black population in Germany until around 2000s. Only the last 20 years the African population in Germany have increased a lot. Before that it was just a few black people here and there.
