Clueless. If you think Trump only received $14 mil from his dad and did the rest on his own, you don't know what you're talking about. Who the fuck was bailing Donald out of all his bankrupties in the 1990s?? Daddy Warbucks. There was a transfer of over $400 million between Fred and Donald Trump. His business books are total fiction. https://www.forbes.com/sites/berniekent/2018/10/08/new-york-times-fred-donald-trump/#2e4938143d46
AB, do you even read it all, or do you read one line and lose your mind.. I SAID: "His father gave him $14 million dollars to start off. Every now and then he helped his son out but it wasn't hundreds of millions of dollars as in, here you go son, go make a life..." I already KNOW his father helped him out during tough economic times - what father wouldn't except an asshole father - however, Trump hustled his own self and continues to. Heck, even well off AOC hustled at work more than Commie slacker Bernie.
So that totally pokes a whole in the self made grinds hard doctrine you're pushing. Is he great at marketing sure. But he has next to no business sense. Do you guys know what bankruptcy means especially six times? Let me put it like this would you trust a bank to hold your money that went under 6 times?
Again: "WASHINGTON – What it comes down to is this: Despite many in the media trumpeting the “fact” that all the momentum in the Democratic Party in 2018 was on the far-left, mid-term voters overwhelmingly endorsed moderates, rewarding their common-sense approach to politics and governing with victory after victory." https://www.thewellnews.com/mod-dems-won-the-house-in-2018-that-was-just-the-beginning/
If as in 'help' you mean Fred gave Donald $400 mil in inheritance and bailed him out of his bankruptcies, then yeah Trump is a self made man.lol If Trump wasn't born rich, nobody would know who he is. Trump isn't even considered one of the preeminent real estate developers in NYC. He's really good at marketing himself, not so good at producing results. Marketing one's greatness to the ignorant = con man.
Glad to see that he's recovered and back on the trail, but his campaign is done. He lost a big chunk of support to Warren on the day that the news hit, and there'd actually been very little crossover between their bases of support before that. On the bright side, Biden is starting to collapse in the poll aggregates, and that's what I care about the most.
Okay, I'm not opposed to the idea that Sanders should consider dropping out, but this is literally Fake News bullshit. CNN doctored their video feed to make dude look beet red and like he was out to drop dead yesterday. Here's the links to the CNN video and the CBS video from the same interview in front of his house. You can see how different he looks. CNN also omitted the parts where he seemed upbeat and was laughing and joking with his wife. https://twitter.com/ryanobles/status/1181689439690604545?s=20 https://twitter.com/CaraKorte/status/1181785750397956096?s=20 Goddamn. These cable news motherfuckers can't help but play favorites. Validates all of the criticism that they get from the MAGA crowd.
Do you guys debate the flat earth people too? I can see them using Noahs ark story to make a point, and you guys seriously firing back with no end in sight.
Uh oh. Looks like neither Bernie or Biden are going down just yet. This is a bit of an outlier, but both Bernie and Biden have rebounded in the aggregate poll and Warren has already lost her lead.
Damn, Bernie really is back. Hopefully, Biden is finally on his way out, but he keeps bouncing back in the polls. Besides Harris and Beto tanking, a lot of my assumptions about this race were wrong. One thing's for sure, that rat-faced piece of shit Pete ain't winning this primary with 0% Black support no matter how hard the media tries to shove him down our throats.
Biden is the people's choice, he will be your next nominee. He has been #1 in every poll since he announced and hasn't budged. Turns out America at large is not buying the unicorn promises of the fringe socialist left. Last week's elections proved it, moderate Dems were the big winners. And Warren is being raked over the coals for her unworkable bullshit fairy dust health plan. Announcing from jump that your plan will kill 2M jobs and will cost more than the Military-Industrial Complex isn't the path to the nomination, who would have guessed. Before you jump down my throat, Biden isn't my choice by a long shot, but it is what it is. My guy dropped out. As a centrist, I am always up for compromise and I'm glad we both hate Mayor Pete haha. Fuck that guy.
I'm curious why are you using polls as a metric over individual donations? Polls are a targeted sample population like elderly people who still have a landline opposed to individual donations and rallies which measure a greater metric of supporters. Like if I asked 1000 people in downtown Yonkers opposed to 1000 people in the Catskills who they supported for governor the outcome would be vastly different. Oh and yeah eff Mayor Pete. He's phony af.
St. Bernie had mAssiVe rAlliEs in 2015-2016 and still lost. Only actual votes count. pOllSterS oNly uSe LanDliNes aNd oNly pOll pEoplE ovEr 50 is another excuse for losers right up there with the riGGeD narrative. Pete sucks. He is a social engineering candidate. He is only out there because some very rich people want him to be. Here is what Real America has to say about it. Don't shoot the messenger. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/pete-b...ssioner-unleashes-homophobic-rant-2019-10-22/
I agree with your thoughts about Pete. In fact here's some insight so over the last month I've been getting applications together for B School because if you aspire as a black man to become upper level management you need one from a top 20 school. So I've also been going to mixers with other students and professors from NYU and Columbia. These conversations tend to be a lot more liberal than the standard convos I have with colleagues and clients. These people LOVE Pete. One because he's like them a type A over achieving Ivy Leaguer who talks in a bunch of word salad that reminds them of their days discussing this stuff in class. He satisfies their virtue signaling itch by being gay so they can say they support LGBTQ people. Most of all (the only thing money people in NY truly care about) is he won't shift anything that could possibly hurt their profit motives. He's a much less talented Obama but he has a similar air. And I'll say it again yes actual votes do count but what do you think is a better indicator of intention to vote polls done with small sample sizes or over 1 million individual donations? What shows your dedication to a cause more a survey over the phone or your actual hard earned dollars? Guess we'll all find out.
I totally get a lot of the arguments against Bernie. He's old, his healthcare plans are a little "pie-in-the-sky" he's not the poster boy for the agenda-driven Democrats (another heterosexual white male, instead of a female, a person of color, or gay) but what I don't understand is the disdain for his message and ideals. His idea that a democratic government shouldn't sacrifice the health and well being of large groups of its citizens on the altar of commerce really shouldn't be that radical of a concept.
