Well, I hate to break it to you again but there are non-black families that do forgive the killers of their loved ones. It may not get the major media coverage, and for some it may take a while, in particular, you see documentaries that show families who go in to the jails to forgive the killers for taking their loved ones lives.

This isn't because black people don't value themselves, or brainwashing from white supremacy... I think it has a lot to do with the circumstances. There's no way in hell if Amber just shot him dead in a traffic stop would they be behaving like this... it's the sum total of the whole murder. Obviously she didn't intend to go home and murder him, which is why she's not getting the electric chair.

Look, I agree 100%, this hugging crap is astonishing to me. I don't have it in me to forgive someone who took the life of my loved one. I'd probably shoot them.
But I can see how everybody got caught up in themselves in that courtroom -- it is very emotional and it does invoke tears if you take it in of itself as a rare display of enormous compassion.
Once the dust settles however, the bitter pill will take effect, l bet. Especially with his mom, who l think wamts no part of this.

 

This shit is ridiculous. It's almost impossible to get any sort of punishment for problem police officers, and this clown who'd been exposed as an incompetent racist gets an immediate outpouring of support.


Also, considering that Judge Mammy Tammy is endorsed by the Dallas police union, I can guarantee you without even doing the research that she treats Black defendants in her courtroom like garbage.

"Joshua Brown, 28, was gunned down outside an apartment complex in the city's Medical District around 10.30 pm on Friday.

He was rushed to nearby Parkland Memorial Hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Witnesses say they heard several gunshots and saw a silver sedan speeding out of the apartment complex's parking lot shortly after.

Police have not apprehended or publicly identified a suspect in the fatal shooting, according to Dallas

While on the stand, he broke down in tears as he described the night Guyger mistakenly entered Jean's apartment and killed him..."
