Netflix, in general, seems to have a feminist-drive agenda. They churn out a lot of crappy shows because of it.

Nope. Like I said and YOU said Universally. You're going by corners of the web not really giving me anything. Again just like with Cloak And Dagger if you paid attention the Midnight, Texas fanbase men loved Olivia. She has more of those sexy tribute videos made by men and her reddit page is more poppin than Parisa's. https://www.reddit.com/r/ArielleKebbel/ (not too mention she's all over reddit pages dedicated to hot celebs.) Parisa's reddit page hasn't been updated in several months.

And just like Olivia Holt Arielle is Universally renowned.

I don't care what you're people say about Lela Loren. Her sex scenes with Ghost are damn near HOF worthy! lol.

And BTW Lexa Doig is a sci-fi Nerd's BABE!

Where did I say I was re-watching Euphoria?

And where did these imaginary rules come from? He said hottest girl on a show involved in IR with a black man. Don't matter if you like the show or not. No one cares about Cassie And Mckay either(not just black females.) and that's the couple he started this discussion with. Do you think Cassie and Mckay are this beloved couple? They got trashed online everywhere. It was even written bad(cheating, humiliation and a abortion) and they broke up. So you want to talk about examples check the person that started this discussion with a couple people didn't care for.

BUUUT if you were actually paying attention he was talking about he was talking about women, ACTRESSES that were Universally considered the hottest female on the show involved with a black man. Christian Serratos(Rosita) fit the criteria.

And it's also show that averages WAY less viewers than TWD
    https://tvseriesfinale.com/?s=Euphoria
    0.560 - 0.20(18-49 demo)

    https://tvseriesfinale.com/tv-show/walking-dead-season-nine-ratings/
    4.950 - 1.88(18-49 demo)

Not to mention TWD averages more viewers than most of the shows with IR involving black men on TV.

(added these things to make sure next time you rush to your opinions you trip over these facts.)

Boy does that make better sense. Well they lost me as a viewer hope more straight men follow suit and stop being brainwashed into believing that supporting these stories benefit them

See and here I was told a couple of years ago that straight black men were the white people of black people.

As for the black guy being paired with the universally acknowledged hot girl on a show. I will say the one that immediately came to mind was probably the Jessica Lowndes and Tristan Wilde pairing but I think lots of guys thought that Anna Lynne McCord was the hottest girl on the show. There was the short lived tv series on UPN South Beach that paired Lee Thompson and Odette Yustman but that was doomed from the start as they almost immediately put them in a love triangle situation with her newly arrived to south beach ex-boyfriend.

Shows in the USA usually don't pair the hottest girl with a black guy. They will put him with the hot girls friends but not with her at most they flirt and dance around it but never get together, Cloak & Dagger would change that. Algee Smith actually auditioned for the role of Ethan on the show, bet if he was in that role people would have had a much more positive view because he would have been lusting after the big girl (a black guy stereotype) and the fact that she would probably be the 6th most attractive of the girls on the show. Movies on the other hand its a little different. Lets be real though even when the hottest girl on the show is black or biracal she is often paired with a white guy. Also ever notice how when their is a biracial character on these shows and its a woman she is often the product of a WM + BF IR relationship.

Thanks for the synopsis of Dear White People and the bio on the guy behind it. Seems like they have shortened the title from Dear White People we dont think Black men are shit either. At this point being a straight black man in the entertainment field just does not seem worth it. I agree that we are to blame a bit because we have just sat back and taken it for a while and allow it to happen where these groups have taken of image and stories and contorted them to fit their own agenda. I also blame the men in those rooms in those production meets for not saying what the fuck

I swear we are the most often imitated and duplicated men on the planet while simultaneously being the least appreciated and most shitted on people. Its a real conundrum, its like the only time a black man is appreciated is if he can run fast, jump high, catch a ball, make you laugh, and while this might seem crude but true non the less if he can fuck like a champ and blow your back out. But while he does all that he better be bowing down to a certain group or groups.

It does not just apply to mainstream entertainment or scripted tv though. All facets of the entertainment industry have decided that straight black men are immaterial and can be talked to and about in anyway and there will be no consequences at all. Disney despite making a ton of money off of black men, they got Michael Strahan (non threatening funny man) all over the place. They got Stephen A (loud mouth entertainer) all over the place. They pay billions of dollars to put the NBA/NFL college football and basketball on ESPN and ABC (Run fast, jump high catch a ball). Yet they will never have a black bachelor.

Then do not even get me started on the adult entertainment side of things and not just porn but all facets of the adult entertainment industry (sex work and strip clubs included) where shitting on black men is an open practice and all but encouraged of all the girls doing this kind of work but its most prevalent amongst you guessed it the black and biracial girls.

    New Nancy Drew Sneak Peak:

Nancy Drew | First Look Trailer | The CW

Forgot about Nancy Drew(which I believed we mentioned on here before.) but I got some more insight to who Tunji Kasim is playing. He's Ned Nickerson which he's her boyfriend and male lead. So it is already to confirm this show will have a IR lead. And not some hook up.

It's being compared to being the new riverdale. I don't watch riverdale but heard it was very popular and one of CW's highest rated show.

So well said. I think we under estimate how much white supremacy and the state have shaped us. Black boys grow up in homes with bitter women who are pissed about their poor choice in mate so both black girls and boys spend their formative years hearing about their ain't shit daddy who got "caught up" or couldn't keep his dick in his pants even though he too was young and dumb when they hooked up. So you have no role model for the boys to emulate so they emulate other dummies who don't know shit then the girls end up dating those same dummies giving their youth to nonsense drawing the same conclusion men ain't shit. They don't examine their own choices and why should they have to when everything in the white supremacist ecosystem promotes that. They can a safely distance themselves because they aren't men and align with gay men who if we're being honest usually emulate their mothers and women in their life (mainly because again lets be fair straight black men made their lives hell) making them black non black men if that makes sense. So when we get into the entertainment space gatekeepers who are usually white have always felt safe with black women and gay black men allow them to be creatives. So you have literally every group that fears us yet wants to be with or be us collaborating their shared pain and stereotypes of us. Thats why a variety of black men don't even exist in their story telling because the black men they want to have sex with or be only look and act a certain way. Its very illustrative who gets to create stories no such thing as a black nerd who gets the girl no such thing as a redeemable black man unless gang affiliated but even then that's a very specific genre.
I can't even blame actors because everyone is trying to eat just sad to watch as a spectator. That's why tv and movie watch has skewed away from American media. Even when black women are in charge they don't see us unless as a stepping stool to their own success.

I was wondering what Lea was talking about mentioning she is borrowing him from Hilary Duff. My silly self thought they were dating(forgetting that Hilary is married) so I went checked and saw and remembered they play the couple Kelsey and Zane on her show Younger.

The last time we talked about them they broke up last season after some steamy back and forth hookups.

And the new season which started in June they seem to be still on.

Charles Michael Davis is still on that "Younger" show? I assumed he was no longer on that show because he was casted as a regular on the now cancelled ABC Shondaland Legal Drama "For the People".

Yep, already covered in the Upcoming IR Slate including his name and his relationship to Nancy.

And Riverdale is already bleeding so far ratings are concerned. It has fallen from its cultural peak from a couple of years ago.

Yeah. I totally forgot about this show. I have watched a few episodes here and there. It's okay if you like upper-class soap opera drama type shows.

Then I wonder who is the new King over there. Or is it still doing better than most CW shows. I know Legacies averaged a little over a million.

"The Flash", followed by "Supernatural" are the 2 most popular shows on The CW this past 2018-2019 TV season according to this link: https://tvseriesfinale.com/tv-show/cw-2018-19-season-ratings/

Totally forgot about The Flash. Mainly because the media covered Riverdale more than that show. That's why it's always good to find these things out yourself at times.

I knew about the show, but this was my first time clicking on the hashtag Sunday night and opened for a surprise. lol.

Sometimes it pays to click on some of these shows hashtags you might find something you like. That sex scene I posted looked good. I didn't know Anna got a little thick like that.
