It's been announced today that next season of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." will be the last season: https://www.ign.com/articles/2019/07/18/agents-of-shield-canceled-final-season-7
This show is going to have a similar problem that Supergirl had. People would rather see the main characters famous cousin. Come to think of it this show is going to have a worse problem because the main character and the actress who portrays her aren't particularly likable.
"A surprise straight from #MarvelSDCC! There are FOUR episodes left of "Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 6, and we’re bringing you an EPIC look at them before tomorrow’s new episode, airing at 8/7c on ABC!" https://twitter.com/Marvel/status/1151997577941999616 This trailer is slappin'!
Agents of SHIELD is better than all of the other Marvel shows including the Marvel Netflix shows. I'd even go as far as saying it's also better than all the live-action DC shows on TV.
This. Even with the "meh" first season which actually pays off as far as seeing how far the characters have evolved over time. Really puts a spotlight on how they fucked up the Inhumans series due to how they handle them in Agents of SHIELD.
I still think they shouldn't had cancelled it and gave it a second season. Giving up easily as they did is not something I agree with.
They should have done what they originally planned to do and introduce the Inhuman Royal family and off world Inhuman race as a movie then built them up that way. It would have worked better especially now with Captain Marvel and the Kree now fully in play in the MCU. They can still have the royal family in play if they wanted to, just recast everyone and act as if the TV show never happened or downplay it altogether due to the Snap & events afterwards.
Interesting. Reminds me of the sword of truth series mixes with game of thrones but only the Targeryn parts
