Facts. I been using IG regularly for almost a year & the functionality is TRASH compared to Twitter, Facebook, & even Google+.

Personally, Most annoying functionality issues on IG:

1. Search function. You can ONLY search for accounts, hashtags, & locations. Good luck finding individual posts that aren't tagged with a hashtag or location. Even if you're searching by hashtag, I don't even think there is a search filter.

2. You can't mute or lower the volume on a video on the desktop interface.

3. You can't see the full list of people that you follow, who follow a specific IG account.


I'm guessing this is why the IG founders recently left Facebook. Facebook was probably glad to see them go since they didn't want add basic-ass functionality to the app.
