Well they ended up walking over from the Capital. I think it's a matter of people getting riled up and wanting to take it somewhere and do more. So now they are blocking the entrance to the game. There are a few people who are in the the center and the players just came out to warm out. Usually it's pretty full in there. They had those inside go down to sit closer. Looks like they are going to still play. They were talking to someone who's inside and it sounds like they aren't letting them up on the plaza or outside. They're talking about concerns about getting people out of the arena too...but there are all sorts of underground paths out of there.

Some of the streets have been shut down to any traffic. Protesters are telling news that This is the Time and the Place to make a stand. The perimeter has like 2 dozen police in gear.

Final call has not been made but something was just said that Sac PD is saying they are going to "shut it down for the night". Who knows what that means.

I'm a ways away from there and all my kids are in. I tell you though - there were tons of sirens out here going all day and I can't find any info on them at all. (we're about 6 miles away from where the shooting in the next town over) There's been a lot of calls into the schools over the past few weeks causing lock downs and such, so it's hard to say what all is going on.

There are reports of "looking in car windows" and then there are reports of smashing....it's not clear. Most of the reports (locally) were about looking in the car windows first.

I will say they like to roll the helicopter around here for almost anything, but that's just to spot light someone they are chasing usually. They are protesting again now, they are saying not as many as last night....but there weren't that many at this time yesterday either. They were not allowed to block the freeway today....well so they said. I just saw a live feed that showed them blocking a bridge. The Mayor is talking now. Someone's SUV had a window smashed yesterday and a police officer was hit by something that was thrown today.

It's after 11PM here and they are protesting out in South Sac now. Some of them did kick and jump on a police car which caused more cops to move closer.
