Good Luck with that, especially if you're thinking of collecting some of the current stuff from either Marvel or DC. With all of the rebooting and event centric storylines they've done its hard to get into and stick with certain titles & characters. Try trade paperback collections if your looking to collect certain characters or storylines. Cost a bit more than buying single monthly issues but the payoff is you get a complete story arc without missing issues.
I started buying trades now. Re-buying some stuff from my childhood in trade form. I don't read current comics, they're not for me anymore
Any other parents had/have the joy of dealing with a sick teenager? This shit is for the birds. At least when they are younger and you tell them to take whatever meds the doctor prescribed to help them get better, they aren't bitching about having to take the meds and then a bit later turn around and whine about how they still feel like shit because they stubbornly didn't take their meds like they should have....WTF.....
Gotta watch out on FB though, everybody can see what you do and what groups you belong to. If I were still creeping, an app is the way to go
