There are plenty of black women that have long and or natural healthy hair. I come from a family full of them. Black people across the planet are just known for styling their hair more than other races. I believe the whole perm and straightening thing is more of an american thing to achieve what White owned media has always identified with beautiful hair and that is straight hair.
WHAT??!! I've never heard anybody IRL, online, or in the media use "Becky" as slang until like @darkcurry said when Plies dropped this single back in 2009:
Careful, black man, careful. Don't you know you can't talk about the sacred cow even on a forum that literally says "white women" in the title?
Lol, Im not talking about them. I just don't want to take away from beautiful natural afro hair with a stereotype and categorize.
Umm...what am I relaxing about? Didn't know if that was a question or if that's all you knew about them. That's like saying "Neo-Confederates? You mean the white people who just want to embrace & celebrate their "southern" heritage?"
