No, actually they have surprisingly went after white guys. Remember when they went after Justing Timberlake or that video showing that black girl
harassing that white guy with dreads?

It's the Kardashian/Jenner girls that they have seem to not throw that "culture apropriation" mess at. Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian have worn cornrows COUNTLESS times.

I disagree. I think they've given up on whining about the Kardashians culture appropriation, because nobody seems to care anymore when the Kardashians do it. But they still hate it when the Kardashians do it.

We're a lot quicker to swoop down on WW over shit like this.

The sisterhood is threatened by other women....not their men.

Well its certainly not White people styling the rows on WP.

So thre should now be a complete boycott of any hairdresser who styles a WW's hair in cornrows AND every Caribbean country that lures White tourists to get their hair styled while visiting.

These obnoxious whiners need to go after them like they do damn near every other business they feel "offended" by.

All I think is if this is the kind of stuff that really makes you mad then you must have lived a troubled free life.

White women have be visiting the Caribbean and getting cornrow hair styling since at least the seventies. As long as it is a styling choice and not some 'dress up as black people for amusement' type thing then I don't see why people would be mad about it.

But it won't end. I was going to put this in my Offense Awards thread when it first hit the news weeks ago, but here will do...

Hoop Earrings Are Racist If White Women Wear Them

'..Describing itself as comprised of "women of color," the group wrote on a wall devoted to free speech: "White Girl, take off your hoops." The group says "black and brown folks" are exploited by the cultural appropriation when white women wear hoop earrings.'

    :confused::confused:

Not gonna bother to read the article, but can somebody explain to the stereotype about WW who wear Hoop Earrings? I've never understood it.

There has never been a stereotype. It's a recent phenomenon where anything in fashion that women share, certain individuals are actively looking to be offended. Hoop earring are universal and ANCIENT, not a symbol of modern cultural oppression as these women claim in their whine.

Naw, there's always been a joked about stereotype in the black community going back to the 90's or 80's about WW who wear hoop earrings.

Oh geeze, l had no idea.

But it still has nothing to do with their theory in the article which was thaf 'WW wear them only for fashion and to look cute, disrespecting that hoop earrings and door-knockers represent struggle and oppression"
Nothing there about hoops being a "Blackman signali', like that Spade nonsense.

My cousins in Europe and Australia been wearing them since we got our ears pierced as young girls. Before we even liked boys, period.

But it is a funny theory you showed here, nonetheless

The truth about these internet outrage stories is that in reality, it's only ever a small group of nitwits who get worked up about it, but because of social media, we all get tricked into thinking that significant numbers of people give a fuck.
