Didn't you already ask this question in the Black Bachelorette thread & folks answered it?: http://www.whitewomenblackmen.com/f...se-casts-black-lead.28821/page-2#post-1051171 Either way, the answer is obvious AF.
Like Colibreh1 said it's pretty obvious. To those that know better anyway. To some producers in hollywood they still have issues with making black men desirable to women. But from what I have been hearing about with some of these "bachelors", a lot of the female fans are turned off by them. If they go with a black guy as the next bachelor their fears might come true especially if they get more black men on this season of the bachelorette. But they probably need the ratings.
@MightyLighty is being obtuse AF with this thread. Real talk, in 2017 why do you even care about having Black Bachelor? I've never sat down & watched a whole episode of "The Bachelor" franchise, so I could care less if they never have a black bachelor. It's pretty obvious from reading articles/interviews that this having a black bachelorette is a ratings stunt & they're gonna play up the racial angle for ratings. The interesting thing is she's never been with a WM prior to doing "The Bachelor". I had a couple of brothas who went to school with her (at The University of Texas) who said she hung around & dated football players back than.
