I'm not on the "deport them all" thing. At the same time, I'm not gonna be marching for them either. I'm trying to see it from both sides.

Interesting how you guys think. What's the two sides in your opinion?

Hmmm! Not sure how you'd conclude that, but I'm pretty sure I'm not.

Latinos(Mexicans) have been fucked over in the past, starting from when Spain first came to North America. Of course, they see Native Americans back then and not mixed so I can't really say they don't belong here when the people they descended from are from the boarding states and further south. But the Latino community, Mexicans mostly, don't seem to give a shit about blacks. A lot of them still don't want them bringing a black person home but are quick to yell "black and brown unite" when they're getting fucked with. A lot of non white/non blacks will look at is like we're shot but then put whites on the pedestal when historically it's been whites that have oppressed them. Hell, look at homie who just got jail time for pulling up to that black birthday party on some white power shit........last name Torres.

I'm of the mindset that I don't worry about other people's problems after they have clearly shown me that they could care less about mine.

Fair enough. It's really different out here on the east coast. Black and brown mingle a lot. The only time people draw lines is in prison but usually it's all good. Most of my boys dated Hispanic girls in hs and college and we played ball with the dudes. I guess it's a clear illustration of the difference between island born and Latin American Hispanics

It's like that in the South too?

No I'm elated that my traditional rivals for money and resources are getting knocked off the chess board. For somebody who's got something to do with investments, you sure seem blind to opportunities when they arise and would rather be scared of the white boogieman. But hey do you

For the most part because the South mostly has Mexicans. In my part of Florida there are mostly Puerto Ricans, so black and brown is all good here.

But it's not like they're being knocked off the chessboard because you can provide better services or innovate like Asians do. You're skipping to the sound of prison cells slamming while your brother and sisters are harassed for being black. Keeping living under the delusion that it can't touch you.

I have Mexican friends but dig this. I called over to my boy's house I think we were headed to the gun range that day. He is Mexican and his Mexican mother in law was in town from Texas and staying over his house for the week. She answered his phone and I could feel the racist vibe over the phone. It was that bad.

I'm like really? I'm thinking bitch you don't even live here. Told my boy about it and he said that she is racist and he couldn't wait for her to leave.

Mexicans as a whole are very racist. Each individual is different of course. I don't expect it when I'm on a one on one with them, but I just don't trust them in large groups unless I already know them.

I had Mexican friends in school and we never really had any issues. Their parents though. My family is from LA and they never really fucked with Mexicans. I don't recall any Mexican friends my family members had. I always wondered about this black and brown shit Tupac and Kam went on about.

I don't understand two sides to any of this. It boils down to equal rights for all human beings. The moment we start dividing that goal into groups that we deem fit or unfit, the whole mission fails IMO. There are ugly individuals in every. single. group. of people. I don't think that gives us the right to look down upon, or diminish the rights of, the entire group.

    Every single human being
, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, immigration status, etc, deserves equal rights. The moment we start excluding human beings based on any of those irrelevent factors, we've lost sight of the goal all together IMO.

I get your point but I'm not looking down on anyone or thinking anyone is unfit for human rights. Not sure how you got that from my post. I'll clarify. I have no problem with law abiding immigrants being in this country trying to better their lives. This land doesn't belong to any of us who aren't Mestizo or Native American. However, they are definitely not a big priority at all. There are other issues I care more about. I know it's not ideal and should care equally about every issue out there but that's how it is with me.

You hear the worst stories about Black & Mexican relationships from L.A. such as Mexicans gangs ethnic cleansing & terrorizing black folks from their neighborhoods.

Also, I notice EVERYBODY (African-Americans, Hatians, Jamiacans, Dominicans, Purto Ricians, & of course Afro-Cubans) seem to hate the White Cubans in Miami.

The Latinos in NYC consist of Dominicans, Puerto Ricans, & Cubans. They all got Black people in their families, even if their not at least part-black themselves. So it makes sense.

Because white Cubans tend to lean Republican and are the most conservative out of the three largest Hispanic groups (as well as Purto Ricans & Mexicans) in the U.S.
