You protest voted? Lmao I totally don't believe you. Not one mention of this guy before this. All you political right leaning people are rarely proud I wonder why
How you know Clifton Roberts is black? I can't tell what his race/ethnicity is, but his lack of afro-textured hair makes me doubt he's black.
Um..you knew already, my dear. We discussed this a few months ago and you even visited his page. Why the gif?
Replace it with what? He started running for office a year and a half before the election and neither he nor republicans in Congress are anywhere close to anything even remotely resembling a workable plan. Republicans have been hollering repeal and replace since about 2010; they couldn't come up with anything in the past half-decade plus? Saying "It's gonna be great!" over and over again doesn't do anything to cover anyone who needs coverage. So again, what is his actual, workable plan to cover people who won't be covered when he and Congress repeal the ACA?
Dude..what are you even rambling on about? What website? The White Supremacist and his aquired chemicals were not known about. So how did BP fear him on the day of the inauguration? Are you being obtuse on purpose?
The Debates were not my stage.... If I were to ask most Americans who he was... They wouldn't know him. They also wouldn't know the party. also while I find the direct democracy a good idea... tyranny of the majority has always been a problem. I don't understand what balance budget means any more because to me it means you are at least at 0 but many states are in debt and the nation is too but I don't believe them to be insolvent. The only point that I have read that I like is eliminating ownership of animals but only for pet owners. That money that pet owners use should be sent to school and/or children who need assistance.
Yes, I am being general on purpose. Black people in my neighborhood thought it wouldn't happen(Black president) and swore up and down that something was going to happen on day 1.
Here are some possible changes.. Obamacare would be scrapped, including the government-run insurance markets in every state, the mandates on individuals and businesses and federal tax credits to subsidize the insurance of lower income Americans. Price’s plan instead would offer fixed tax credits – pegged to a person’s age rather than their income -- so that they can buy their insurance policies in the private market. Those tax credits would be fairly modest, ranging from $1,200 a year for people 18 to 35 years of age to $3,000 for those 51 and older. ..for the rest.. https://www.google.com/amp/www.thef...ement-Plan-0?amp?client=ms-android-att-aio-us
Colibruh..I was trying to respond to your post where you said Clifton is not Black because of his "hair texture" not having the coarseness..but your post has disappeared... Your comment sucked, btw. I mean, really? Also, here you go.. Aph Ko of BVR (BLACK VEGANS ROCK) had the pleasure of interviewing Clifton Roberts, the Humane Party Presidential Candidate, about his political perspectives as well as his personal journey into veganism. http://www.blackvegansrock.com/blog/2016/8/29/feature-clifton-roberts
Here is an excerpt.. BVR: How do you think anti-racist issues intersect with non-human animal rights issues today? CR: They both intersect in a major way. While most humans have failed to recognize the intersection of racism and species-ism, the Humane Party platform underscores the historical exploitation of non-human animals, who lack the intellectual advantage we enjoy as humans, as a contributory component in our mistreatment of each other, especially of those who encounter inequality, on any level, because of their race, gender, sex, or class. Marlene Narrow, radio host of VeganNation, beautifully articulated this intersection: "When we free the other animals, we free ourselves. All that we force others to experience, we will, eventually experience ourselves. What happens to the least of us, happens to all of us. As we practice discrimination by giving some species rights, while denying those same rights to other species, we experience a society impregnated with injustice & discrimination." BVR: When did you become interested in the political sphere? CR: I've always been interested in politics. I minored in political science while attending the University of California at Berkeley and participated in mock Supreme Court sessions where I would play the role of one of the justices in offering consent or dissent positions to a particular historical case. However, it wasn't until 2014 that I admitted to myself that I needed to assume a more influential role in politics to better manage the outcomes that consistently disappoint me year over year. I came across the Humane Party, who's social, economic, and political positions aligned with my own. ADDUM: Additionally, the Humane Party platform calls for fundamental change on many levels, including: the elimination of systems and practices that create profit motives to incarcerate people, as well as engage in war eliminating the electoral college modernizing freedom-of-information laws which would protect, versus criminalize, whistle-blowers who expose illegal governmental practices designing and implementing a comprehensive system to remedy the series of unprovoked acts and consequences of transatlantic human slave trade cultivating excellence in education and scholarship by fostering humane education and the passing of the HEARTs Act (Humane Education Advances in Research & Technology) defending our air, land, and water resources against on-going contamination and depletion - Clifton Davis
Stop your nonsense. I spoke of him numerous times. Ask Beasty. I support him off here as well. I don't like Hillary ...does not mean I vote for Trump. You really don't know me very well.
Taken from the same article: In one of the biggest blows to poor and low-income Americans, Price would repeal the expanded Medicaid coverage in 32 states and the District of Columbia for able-bodied single people and leave those current beneficiaries to fend for themselves on the open market, using other tax credits and benefits. And further down: At the same time, insurers could jack up the premiums and copayments on their oldest enrollees by as much as the market would bear. The Affordable Care Act currently limits insurers from charging their oldest enrollee three times as much as their youngest clients, but that would no longer be the case under Price’s approach. So how exactly is this plan supposed to cover people that the ACA already does? Price's plan solves problems that the ACA wasn't even intended to fix and ignores the ones that it was created to fix.
If you go back to the initial affordable care act, there was an initial single payer plan. Yet it doesn't exist. These plans change by the time they pass. It is wishful thinking. If I were to pretend that they got what they wanted, they are doing the same thing that the ACA is doing except that they are not taking into account that $3000 may not be able to cover someone who has to pay more than they can afford. It covers less people.
