At about 4:15 p.m., as the inaugural parade took place blocks away, protesters set a car on fire along K Street, sending plumes of dark smoke through downtown."



They didn't give a shit if anyone was inside it when they threw the Molotov cocktail through the window.

"During the morning protest, a large group of black-clad protesters — self-described as anti-capitalist and antifascist — set fires, leaving them smoldering, threw fireworks and broke glass at bus stops, businesses and on the windows of a limousine."

There are literally hundreds of thousands of lefties in the streets today protesting the Trump presidency and not one act of violence or vandalism.
The rock throwers are typically anarchists who want the whole system to burn down and aren't really a part of the progressive majority.

And sorry for my being insensitive but it's hard for me to shed a tear watching a stretch limo on K street burning down to the wheels.
K Street is where all the lobbyists in D.C. are primarily located and the ones who really control the levers of power in Washington.


To be honest, I think Trump brings this out in people. He's arrogant, conceited, insulting, condescending, undignified, vulgar and ignorant.
He brags about sexual assault, insults war heroes, refuses to release his taxes so we Americans can see what kind of financial ties he has outside the U.S. and basically thinks rules don't apply to him. On top of that he's in bed with the Alt-right and has chosen the former head of Breitbart news to be one of his top advisers.

There's a reason why the man is entering office with the lowest approval ratings in the modern era. He's already below 40% approval and he hasn't been in office 30 days yet.

No American should bow down and kiss Trump's ring. All indicators are he's going to be a world class fuck-up as POTUS.
Let him prove the rest of us wrong, he gets no benefit of the doubt from me.

Did you hear his inauguration speech?? Someone remind Trump whenever he speaks as POTUS, he's talking to the WORLD and not some campaign rally in a barn somewhere in Mississippi.
If I were one of this country's allies, I'd be worried about which direction Trump's presidency is heading.
Repeating, "America first, America first", doesn't really say much about how Trump plans to be the world's most powerful and important leader.


I've met more than a few people who voted for Trump as an anti-Hillary vote. But I haven't seen many folks who chose Trump because they believe he's going to be a great POTUS.

Who cares when the attacks happened? Who cares why the protesters were there? They were attcked with violence by Trump supporters. If someone violently shoved any of my female friends or relatives the way she was shoved I would be incensed. Lastly I'm certainly not justifying the unlawful and dangerous actions of some of the protesters yesterday, just providing examples of how both sides can display terrible behavior when angry. If memory serves you claimed back in November that there were no random acts of violence against Obama supporters when he was elected, until I posted links to the contrary.

The pro-lifers were discouraged from attending,(since there's no way to enforce such a thing with hundreds of thousands of people in attendance), because it wasn't a pro-life march.

This is what happened at the Occupy Wall Street protests when anyone with a cause wanted time to speak at the podium.
