Ok so your comment made me watch it. I'm with Jenny McCarthy.

Look, Whoopi is right in theory, but in the real world, men will ALWAYS be stronger than women. It's not rocket science.
And chilvary is NOT dead, as she insists. That boils down to how your mama and papa raised/raise you.
No way in hell should a boy be raised and encouraged to clock a woman. G L, l hope you are raising your daughter to understand that.
Women by nature are emotional creatures and sometimes can lash out on a man because intuitively she feels he can bear her brunt. That's why in the movies you'll see a woman pound a man's chest while he shakes her silly back, and maybe throws her down and she crumbles..or she slaps him, and he slaps her back and she coils and starts crying.
9/10 a slap is all it takes to stop a woman in her tracks, because it will hurt her like hell. No need to crack her dome. Good grief.

I like that you don't favor clocking females. Super masculine. :)

Thank you, I couldn't think of her name. Jenny McCarthy was absolutely right... A man's strength and a woman's strength, 9 out of 10x, are not equal. And I actually cringed when Whoopi made that comment about chivalry. It is most certainly not dead and young women should be raised to seek that characteristic out in a man. I'd never raise my daughter to expect less. My sweet little boy has the most mellow temperament, even at his young age he holds every door open, he makes sure his sister and I order before him when we're out, he kills the spiders lol...he'll be the man who walks away, not the idiot who takes his anger out on some chick for a stupid slap. This mama will make sure of it!

I totally didn't know that! Can you work some magic to bring it back please?! This new set up won't even post emojis I type from my phones keyboard. Such a small thing but it's bugging the heck out of me lol

But I though women wanted equality? Can she not open door herself? Does she not have functioning hands?

I certainly hope you remember that about about yourself the next time a woman offers to jerk you off.
    Jerk Off.

Your boy sounds adorable and a total sweetheart. ( maybe one day he will get a piece of paper or cup and move the spiders outside - sorry, l love spiders and can't hurt them :D)

Your daughter should never expect less. Absolutely right there. ( thumbs up emoji, because Webbie DOESNT HAVE ONE! o_O)

Speaking on that note ( because l don't yet know how to double quote posts) ..per your emoji reply, l noticed that too - that when l added my phone's emojis, nothing showed up in the comment. I think you and l are by far the worst abusers of using emojis ( next to AB) so yes, it's frustrating that we can't express ourselves as we so like to do, lol.

Aww mightylighty ain't so mighty if he can't even hold a door open lol. Clearly you weren't raised right, but luckily that's not my problem and you're not of my concern so keep doing you, "mighty".

Lol I don't mind all spiders...if they're the daddy Long leg ones, they can live, but spider spiders give me the creeps lol

And yes I do love (and likely overuse) emojis but sometimes it's a perfect expression of my feelings and it saves me time from having to write out actual words lol. Clearly my laziness peaks online ?;)

Yup! This all day, every day.

My brother and I were raised to not put our hands on anyone, defend ourselves if necessary and to not hit females. Obviously, it's a different set of rules if you're in imminent danger like being cornered, she has a weapon and so on.

THIS is common sense to me. There's never been a question or any hesitation in my mind about how to raise my son. You're a wonderful example of a man who was raised right, the little boys here could learn a thing or two if they put their egos aside for a minute.

I think mothers should teach their daughters to NEVER initiate a violent confrontation with a man (or anyone else), period.

Most men already follow the 'never hit a women' garbage philosophy. So that situation could have avoided if the thug with a arrest record kept her hands firmly by her side the whole time.

I'm truly sicken by the comments that seem to reinforce patriarchy, and sexism.

Ok let me ask this question if a 5'7 150 lbs man goes up to a 6'5 300lbs man and unprovoked starts messing with and even slaps him across the face not a single one of you hypocrites would say boo if that first dude lost some teeth.
Being weaker doesn't give you free reign to assault other people. Also I would never want to teach my children abuse is ok based on your gender because that's exactly what you do by perpetuating this b.s. narrative you should never hit a woman. How about everyone keep their hands to their damn selves. Why is that concept so foreign.

Never hitting a woman isn't a "garbage philosophy", it's the way grown men behave. No one (man or woman) should initiate a violent confrontation, but human beings are emotional animals and far from perfect. You have to live in, and know how to appropriately respond to, real life. Your idiotic mentality that equates gender equality with physical equality between genders is assenine.

Lol hopefully you never reproduce. The last thing this ugly world needs is more people with your warped way of thinking

So instead of teaching young women keep your damn hands to yourself you teach boys just take it and move on?

The concept is not foreign because everyone assumes everyone else has sense enough not to start unnecessary/unprovoked conflicts no matter gender.

The problem is uncommon sense is now seen as the norm. Which is why I asked GL exactly how many women on a regular basis are running up on him wanting to fight him just because. Ya'll keep throwing out these scenarios of women running up on dudes just becauses. The truth is savage ass individuals (no matter gender) who engage in savage behavior will attract other savage individuals thus savage behavior.

Agreed, but it's also up to us to teach very basic shit because men don't normally run up on me either but it's understood put your hand on me prepare to get tagged back. Also it's not a smart thing to teach girls because there will be that savage who will go overboard and as we all seem to know men are stronger so why provoke a bad situation. Relying on brow beating men into total submission will not keep a dumb chick from losing her teeth.
