I know RIGHT! he is so gracious but you know that had to be tough for him after 18 years coming in as the back up QB...he even said so post game...Brock will more than likely be their QB next year but I am praying for a SB win this year...

I had no idea that he was relegated to back up. So how come he played today? When you postd his TD, it was SD 13 and Broncos 14...lm a bit confused..

he was not the starter today...Osweiler got a TD in the first 31 seconds of the game...then he had 4-5 turnovers...SD had two field goals and the score was SD 6 DEN 7...Peyton was put into the game after the half and scored a TD in the first couple of minutes...

Coach says he made the decision but I bet you anything Elway made the call to put Peyton in the game...we didn't even know if he would play again...

FYI, Peyton worked out with the practice squad all week

I only saw the last part of the game (when Peyton came in) but the announcers said something like the Broncos turned the ball over 5 times before Peyton came in.

The offense looked like it had a spark with him in it. He's such a professional.

Oooh, thanks ladies for the break down. Love me some FB drama, lol.

Totally understand your point (n'post) now Lippy. That TD by Peyton must've brought the house down at Mile High :smt077

when Peyton came on the field the crowd went crazy...sadly they were booing Osweiler after the 5 turnovers...with KC winning we had to win to get a week off..or we would have dropped to #5 seed

Wow, l can imagine the roar :smt038.
And if Osweiler had been an Eagle, booing would have started at the 3rd turnover :p
Congrats on the bye. I love playoff football! Can't wait!

As a NYG fan... I'm sad to see Coach Coughlin go. Admittedly, our last 3 seasons have been disasterous, but I appreciate all he's done in NY.

Some seriously incredible memories with the Giants and Eagles, and of watching him and his animations on the sidelines
Glad it was the Eagles who got to play against him in his final coaching game.
And hey, Tom brought rings twice back to the NFC East, and it was icing that it was against the cheating Pats.

Well, the season is coming to an end fast. I've loaded my DVR up with a number of games so when I go through football withdrawal, it will be easier! Ha! Most of the games I don't even remember who won them so when I see them again, it will be like watching it for the first time. The only way I would know which team won (before watching) is if the teams season record was 12-4 or 14-2. If it is 8-8 or 7-9...etc, I won't remember. And the advantage I have over the average person is most people bond with one or two teams. I don't. I like a bunch of teams equally. Although I am originally from Ohio, I like West Coast teams like the Raiders, Chargers and Forty Niners (although all three teams are pathetic and suck!). I like the Sea Hawks only because I have always liked Pete Carroll. And since I am from the Midwest, I like the Browns, Bears and Detroit. Not too excited about Minnesota or the Bengals for some strange reason. And from the East I like Philadelphia and the Steelers (except when they play the Browns which is a guaranteed win!). And yes, I know the hate will begin with this...Yeah, I like the Cowboys too! Ha!

If you think the Raiders suck, you clearly haven't seen many of their games (hopefully you've got a couple queued up in that DVR rotation). They've been in recovery mode for 10 years lol, I'll give you that, but what they've got now is the real deal. I expect great things from them in LA

    Oh btw...fuck the chargers lol.

Hmmm! No, the Raiders were bad for a long time, but they've definitely turned the corner. I think the Niners are clearly in need of rebuilding. The Chargers remain confusing as they continue to have flashes of brilliance, but find strange ways to lose games.

Not wishing it on you, but the Eagles is one of my guesses as to where RG3 could land. Clearly, he needs a new start, but I think he needs to be out of the NFC East. I think someone like Andy Reid could provide the atmosphere and guidance he needs.

I hear that. I feel hugely sorry for the guy, but our team has had enough problems.

That strikes me as some Chip Kelly type shit and not that he's gone I doubt that Andre 3000 RGIII will end up in Philly.

The best OC the Bears have had in a very long time is currently interviewing with 3 teams this week and one next week.

He's interviewing for HC at the Eagles, Browns, and Dolphins, and the Giants have requested permission to interview him.

Honestly, I don't see any of those teams as very alluring for a first time HC.

The Giants is probably the best option, though their QB isn't going to be around forever.

I just wish he'd stay another year, but it's looking highly unlikely. :smt022

Especially the Browns. That team franchise is an absolute trainwreck from top to bottom. I agree with the Giants being the best option. Cleveland is where careers go to die, whether you're a player or a coach.
