Any Resolutions? Lol.. Hope everyone had a great celebration artyman: :smt033 and more to come for 2016 :smt001
I had to work last night amid the sounds of fireworks , interspersed with gunfire. I have made a couple of resolutions, one being to lose more weight and the other to get my book published. Those two I must work on.Happy New Year, everyone.
Happy New year to everyone on the Forum. I don't do resolutions per say, not real ones anyway lol I'm going to be a bit kinder to myself, I tend to over analyse every step I make and often feel a bit guilty if I can't do everything at once for everybody. As they say "let go and let god" within reason off course. I have given up smoking for nearly a year now so that is something to be proud off, I think I'm also going to start taking a bit more me time and find myself a new not insanely expensive gym to go to, now my lungs have been given a year of decent oxygen again lol And above all prioritise things like those above in my life and not change important routines to suit others. Oh and de-clutter as I'm turning into a bit of a hoarder, clothes, shoes, random knick knacks and other junk I have no purpose for. I have about 15 coats but I only wear one of them??? what's that about hey? I have bagged up 10 of them today to go to charity and left myself with 5 so I've already started.
OMG, me too...I started with catalogs and magazines to recycling today...I have invited a few girlfriends over this weekend to view clothing before it goes to charity... painting is my weekend project...put a couple of samples on the wall to decide a color...need to commit and get it done... work, life/balance is my new goal for 2016...working on an annual bucket list
Don't talk to me about Paint lol The only room I haven't painted at the new house is our room and I have started hoarding paint lol especially when I see a buy 2 pots get one free lol I have 3 pots of cover story, which i decided was too girly lol and i have 3 pots of Tropical Ocean and 3 pots of crown flatt matt feature wall paint in Cherry lush, lagoon and chartreuse and 2 pots of a cream emulsion called Hare. Still cannot decide and I have been stocking up on Laura ashley furniture paint for my pine bedroom furniture. I have seabreeze, Pale Linen, Pale Grey and pale duck egg. Still cannot decide on what colour to go for, don't want to do it again for a while.
I went to get a sample yesterday...put it on the wall...loved it last night...not so much this morning...so i went and got another sample...painted another wall...now I have to do something since I have patchwork walls...it is my living room so this is several shades of a neutral cream...lol...it should not be this hard...tomorrow I am moving forward with color #2...lol
Happy New Year everyone!! I decided as my resolution, I'm going to keep political posts to a bare minimum on Facebook. I hated the way I became on my page. Being an election year, this is going to be very hard, but it's important to not alienate my friends. So, I will likely start a blog, like the billions of other people. LOL.
Happy New Year, WWBM family! No resolutions for me. Just plan to continue doing my part to stay healthy, work hard, avoid drama, and enjoy life.
Nice posts, interesting posts. My current resolution/s are/is to actively mediate, something l actively did years ago. To stop taking on (aka trying to fix) other people's problems who look for me to. ( it will be a challenge because of my protective nature.). Continuing to move more, which l already started that 3 months. Continuing to spend less time online, which l already began a few months ago.

Thanks, y'all. My desktop pc died this past summer and I can only post from my phone for the time being. Glad to see some familiar faces still around here.
