I say to helll with history. It's in the past. A person, regardless of age, sex and race, can choose to lead by example or follow at their own peril. Nothing is impossible. You must want to achieve to take that next step forward. You probably seen the film Focus where Will Smith's character talks about a lesson he learned from his father about two kinds of people in the world, hammers and nails. I'm going to be the hammer. All things, goals and dreams are worth the time and effort if one wants it bad enough. To anyone who would ask me the question,"Who are you?" My reply will be, "I am a man."

We could if it weren't for so many passive people in our community whom are quick to forgive bastards like that Dylan Roof kid.I'm an advocate for self defense by any means ranging from hand to hand combat to knives and guns .Though, the only "Black Wall street" city/town that was able to defend itself from Whites was D.C. go figure.

Those where times of segregation and more racial tension than there is now. It won't be a bad idea to have another black wall street, but more so than that we need to focus on having controlling interests in industries. You can't destroy an entire industry without destroying the economy of this country as a whole. That's how you get them by the balls. That's what cornering markets is all about. You would have to destroy the entire media industry in order to destroy the power of the Jews. That's not happening. You would have to by them out and they are not selling unless you offer them a controlling interest in a more powerful industry.

 

Be it personal or collective. You could either stay or move on. The choice is yours.

 

In other words, you're saying to cut a deal with the devil? Well that's been done a long time ago and still hasn't worked out in a minority's favor....

We all live on the same planet, so if you think actually controlling a part of the economy is a bad thing then you have no idea of what's going on in this world or how it actually works.

 

Let's say you work for 2 weeks and on the day you are to get paid for those 2 weeks of work you find you account has been credited for only this current day. Furious, you head to HR to find out what happened to the complete prior days and your pay for those days and the HR administrator tells you:

"I say to hell with history. It's in the past."

You would be cool with that?

 

With all due respect dear RestlessRita, your collective people are famous for reminding people about your history and why it's important to make sure people "never forget".

How can you in good conscious say that post was excellent when he says "...to helll with history. It's in the past" when your collective people do not adhere to such foolishness?

"Our" history? What part of "our" history do we say we should never forget? What you fail to realize is that white folks don't have the same sense of community that black folks do. We don't bond together against a common enemy. I know I don't feel any sort of allegiance to other white folks just because they're white. I do, however, feel that bond with fellow Americans, particularly in the face of foreign hostility.

 

Great point. We are literally the only people told to move on from our pain yet everyone else gets to hold theirs up to the world to make sure it never happens again. I recently heard a Jewish woman say "But it's so fresh" in reference to the holocaust as if modern day Jim Crow is a thing of the past. Hell if you want to play that game the civil rights act is a hell of a lot more recent than the holocaust. Not to play oppression olympics but fuck if it ain't annoying though.
