I don't see her comments as slut shaming, but even if they were: Is slut shaming seriously a bad thing?

This is what happens when you give hoes a platform to speak on.

I am not mad at Ayesha Curry. Her comments about women should dress classy and leave the good stuff private for the one who matters (more or less) are also how I feel.

I appreciate that a woman feels sexy and dresses a bit provocative, but there's a way to be classy and a lot to do with how she carries herself.
Yes, maybe she's being a little hypocritical since she posed recently for a sexy photo shoot (I didn't see her photos, so I will refrain from commenting on them) but she's not carrying herself around like a whore.

You always have the random ass, thot looking, ratchet women in the club who look and behave badly, and I'm sorry, people we going to treat them differently than a woman who is dressed sexy but not trashy; a woman who carries herself with dignity and self respect. Confident women who keep it classy are very attractive. Those women are also in a club setting, so to each his/her own.

Nothing wrong with dressing sexy. Just a time and a place for it IMO.

I agree that maybe someone got under her skin and it was a little more of a personal "attack" by Curry. You know us women love sending subliminal messages lol

There is nothing wrong with showing a little more skin wherever it's appropriate like a beach for example or if it's hot out. A lot of women wear less out and about like that to have people find them sexy... it's an insecure issue, because a lot of men find slutty sexy. Sluts and prostitutes dress like that and that is one of the reasons why a lot of men flock to them. Attracting them sexually. Because both promiscuous and non-promiscuous dress like that for thing attention. The kind of attention they want is not what a promiscuous woman wants. And it's all because a lot of men and people overall find the way sluts and prostitutes dress to be sexy, because they know why they are wearing it. So a lot of women naively thought that the way to dress sexy is to dress like they are, not fully understanding the shallow attention that comes with it and now they want to call foul and say it's slut shaming.

And now the actual sluts are using that to defend themselves and people are now defending them. I remember an episode of "The Talk" where Aisha Tyler was talking about prostitutes and said (I'm paraphrasing) she don't want to slut shame, however way you get your money do what you got to do. So that's the world you live in now days, It's okay to be a prostitute.

It should be noted that the media and entertainment industry are the biggest and original slut shamers, because for decades they have portrayed women in movies and tv shows that dress sexy as being everything from dumb bimbos to sluts.

I don't get this whole "slut shaming" thing. You go around wearing clothes that show off your figure and/or skin but get upset when someone calls you a "ho" or"slut".That would be like me wearing a uniform, badge and gun, then get upset when people call me a cop.

This is the most retarded line of thinking. Some of the nastiest chicks I've known practically dressed like catholic school girls lol. But go ahead, keep judging those books by their covers. This is why I can't help but laugh when dudes get played by the innocent looking ones. If you're dumb enough to fall for the fake look they're purposely projecting, you deserve what you get lol.

Didnt the whole thing proud to dress slutty actually start as a protest against the cop in Toronto that said something like women should avoid dressing like sluts as a precaution for sexual assault. Then it has kind of evolved to where it is now.

As for the comments well the commentator had it right someone probably hit on Steph and it annoyed the hell outta her and she didnt want to go after the woman specifically. Did not want to seem totally jealous or insecure. Was she slut shaming no, was she being a hypocrite and a tad judgmental yeah she was.

Lmao dude, my "hoe uniform" is scrubs so you know damn well he didn't "hit too close to home" with me :smt043 If you agree with his line of thinking though, I'd consider you retarded as well lol. That's how y'all get tricked into shit. You make it so fucking easy...falling for the "good girl" look when she's probably the dirtiest of them all lol. Keep on professor. I'm happy to see you in the clinic for testing when you're done with the undercover hood rats ;)

He specifically said wearing form fitting clothes means you're a ho. Have you ever bought clothes as a woman? If your clothes don't fit your frame, you look sloppy. Period. Form fitting clothes don't mean the woman will spread her legs for every tom, dick and hairy. It means she cares enough about her appearance to not wear moo moos.

Honestly, woman will be judged REGARDLESS of how we dress. If it's too tight, were a ho. If it's too baggy, we're fat or pregnant lol. This is why I think women can safely say "fuck what anyone thinks, this is what I'm wearing!"

fool hes talking and we are talking about showing your ass. and yes if u want to scream form fitting...then having your clothes showing every crack in your ass will make it a hoe uniform. call it what u want.

u look like a damn stripper at walmart then people will u a hoe.

like the woman said "the goodies should be for the one that counts"

    gtfoh.

hey be proud of the uniform and badge

exactly u didnt watch the vid and well....

There's a huge difference between showing your figure and showing your ass. I responded to his words about a woman showing her figure. Maybe he didn't mean it that way, but I wasn't responding to his intent, I was responding to his words.

Go ahead and unbunch your panties GL, it's just not that serious :D
