You should check out Cooley High. It is a cool movie. Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs and Avery Brooks are In it. It was said that Cooley High was better than American Graffiti.

Back in 1986, when I was a hospital volunteer, I had seen for the first time, an A.I.D.S. patient. In the state of New Jersey, there were many cases of people who were infected. A woman who was infected encountered a man in Atlantic City. The man attacked and raped her. During the attack, she warned him that she had A.I.D.S.. The man continued his attack. In Essex County, there were many cases of HIV/A.I.D.S in the city of Newark alone. In Morris County there were as many as 16 cases. I lived in Morris County on and off for many years. I have never forgotten that A.I.D.S. patient. I will never forget his face. It made me realize that HIV/A.I.D.S. is not a disease to punish the gay community. It wasn't a laughing matter. HIV/A.I.D.S. is a threat to all of us.

A lot of them are hoping for a baby from a rich and famous man. That's why they don't use protection. They know if they get pregnant they're set for life. For them, it's worth the risk.

I just wonder who he caught it from? Was it from a shared needle? Believe it or not, it's hard for a man to catch it from a woman if there are no open cuts or the like. That's what makes me question how he caught it. Alot easier to catch male to male than anytime else. Wonder if he is bi or just plain unlucky?

I think I saw a clip online where an editor from the Enquirer was giving an interview about the sheen story they're running.

The guy mentioned that the people coming forward include women, men & trannies...

Damn this dude knew he had contracted the virus, even while he was running around shouting "winning" ... and playing up his "bad boy" image like in the commercial below...

Well, I 'ahem', heard that Charlie used to party with tranny chicks at some of his sex parties.

Which would explain how he possibly became exposed to HIV.:butthead:

But SHeen was also on antiviral meds and had an extremely low HIV viral load, which probably led him to believe he couldn't infect anyone.

So far not one person has come forward claiming Sheen gave them HIV, so it looks like Charlie knew what he was doing.

I don't believe there's such a thing as being HIV positive and believing you can't infect anyone. That's just selfishness and rationalizing.

Even if it was true that he didn't believe he was putting anyone at risk, you would think the guy would "tone it down" a bit after learning he had hiv, instead of still playing the "bad boy" and putting his sex life all out there with "the goddesses" and the commercials and such.

    And "winning"? Really? Amazing. :smt101

Btw, in his matt lauer interview he admits he's had unprotected sex since learning he had hiv. And when asked if he warned all his partners, you can tell by all the hemming and hawwing and squirming and dancing around the question that he didn't warn all his partners (if he even warned any of them).

Not surprised at all by these turn of events, it really does kind of make sick sense of all his poor behaviour lately and in my opinion he has become somewhat unhinged and "I don't give a f**k " when it comes to his life.

It's true that HIV is not the death sentence it used to be but you still have that stigma around it and automatically assume the person who has contracted it made poor choices and is their own fault.
It's an illness like any other illness and really this public admittance of having HIV by C.S should make more people aware of the risk of contracting HIV and that it can happen to anyone.
HIV has doubled in the UK in 10yrs it seems like no one is learning anything from the past so maybe him bringing it into the now might make people think harder about safe sex and not just trust a partner long term or short term as they might not even know they have it.

I guess Sir Elton John's message has fallen on deaf ears. I guess itt's a way of saying, "Fuck it. I'm not getting any younger and I'm not going to live forever." Enter the HIV/A.I.D.S. virus. When one is given the news of the diagnosis, it is quitting time and the party's over.
