    So abuse is funny?
Don't justify a thing, it's always interesting to see how others think. It's why I have little hope for this world lol

The legal structure is already in tact to help men that get abused. If he is too afraid to use it because others think it's funny that's on him.

Ladies and gentlemen. If in a situation where things are beginning to become heated, follow this bit of advice; walk away. Remain silent and just walk. No one gets hurt. Tensions will be eased. Repeat if necessary.

Assault and domestic violence is illegal even in the case of a woman abusing a man, correct?

Well yeah so is rape but would you look at rape victim that didn't tell in the same way?
It's like you want a man to feel shameful that something out of his control happened or in your mind that situation doesn't exist by pure virtue of being man.

I don't know if your fucking with me or being more ignorant on abuse than I thought. Your coming from the left field. MY point had nothing to do with legality at all, but rather what is behind abuse, male or female and how it works. Now you're moving the goal post. This has nothing to do with any of my posts. My issue is your ignorance on how domestic violence works, male orfemale I. Can't. Even.

What are you talking about? If its illegal the man can call the police. Domestic violence should be easier to prove than rape if he has bruises. If he really needs help the thought of people laughing shouldn't matter. If an adult is affected that much by someone laughing at him then the issue is with himself.

Fam its called shaming. Does this really need to be explained to you? When people are ashamed them are less likely to seek help rather than deal with the continued trauma. You're yanking my chain right now. I know you're not that dense.
You see this shit all the time with rape victims and battered women. Do you think a man's wiring is so different that we don't experience shame?

    Hmm

There are other forms of abuse...such as women alienating men from their kids

True, but the debate was about physical abuse both men and women suffered in relationships.

But abuse can start with mental as well as emotional. Both of which can lead to the physical abuse.

I am sorry but some of the convo here is plain stupid. Physical abuse by a woman is not necessarily her standing toe to to with you and boxing you. Physical abuse by women can be her throwing dangerous objects at you when she is mad. Try being on the receiving end of a beer bottle or a glass and tell me it doesn't hurt. I live in the neck of the woods where i can knock a woman's teeth out and still get away with it but in the western world a man is not supposed to touch a woman EVER, so some men endure attacks of every kind from women and have to suck it up. Abuse is abuse plain and simple and just as some women are hesitant and cannot leave their spouse when they are abused ,some men are also hesitant to leave their significant other when they abuse them.

No one has to suck anything up. As an adult, staying and enduring continued abuse is a choice.
