I think that the time has come to understand that men and women have their own strengths and weaknesses. For men, it is simple; be a man. For women, act like a lady. These are the traditional rules of conduct for both to follow. However, it changes for that individual man and woman when situations arise and action is called for. Bend with the breeze or break. Sink or swim. Roll with the punches. Fight or flight. Feast or famine. Live or die. There is a lot of pressure for men to use their power because other men are watching and sizing them up. They do it physically, mentally and sometimes materialistically. They would use any and all means to study another man they think is competition. It is almost the same with women. As I have mentioned before, abuse is not just physical, it can also be mental and emotional.

Not entirely related but still sort of cutting:

Stockholm recently opened a rape center specifically for men victims only. I think its fantastic that this has happened as male rapevictims (and abuse victims) by and large is an ignored issue.

Quite a few women who could fuck my ass up??:smt026

    Okay.
Subdue a chick means to me a bear hug, something like that.
I'm not gonna stand in front of some female throwing blows at me.

I've just never seen a chick, by herself, who I ever thought posed a physical threat to me.
    Without a weapon.

And I sure as hell never dated one.:smt119

You're probably one of those dudes who think Rhonda Rousey could beat up most dudes in a street fight.:smt081

Yeah I bench 380 Lol. There was a joke amoung some of my associates who said they think Floyd Mayweather could beat me in a street fight. In the ring with gloves I give the advantage to Floyd. Bare handed in the streets he wouldn't stand a chance. Dude is only 150 pounds. Be real.

As Aalliah said to Jet Li in the film Romeo Must Die, "When your ass is about to be kicked by a woman, there's no time to be a gentleman."

When I was at the corrections academy, we were told that the female inmates were dangerous because unlike the male inmates, who often use improvised weapons, the female inmates WERE the weapons in more ways than one. A man has to be very careful in women's institutions. If it isn't a physical altercation, it's a subtle accusation of sexism and sexual harassment.

You grossly over estimate your abilities if you think you could easily overwhelm an undefeated world champion. This ain't a movie sit down homie

The only chance Mayweather has in a street fight is to box.
If you get him on the ground, he's done.

He's a great fighter but a small man. I doubt he has much of a chance against 200+# man in decent shape in a straight up fight.

Yeah there's the risk he could still knock you flat out, and I believe he could.
But he definitely doesn't have the advantage in that type of situation.
THere's a reason he walks around with those big ass bodyguards all the time.

Back in the day, true heavyweight champs like Foreman, Muhammad Ali, etc. had entourages but they didn't really have bodyguards. 'Cause they didn't need them.

    Not to digress.......!:smt109

I'm not trying to clown anyone, but have any of the men had a physical confrontation with a woman that went down badly??

In 3rd grade I had a skinny ass chick shove me back into my locker before she ran down the hall.
That's the closest I ever came to FIGHTING a female.

For some reason I think some here have had worse happen.

Honest!y, here You guys are arguing who could take who when i posted something that is relevant for the recognition of men as victims. How about You talk about that instead of fictional scenarios? Is this something you rather ignore? I remembering posting this video way back where a wife was caught abusing her wheelchair bound husband right out off his chair, no comments then either

I think this is a potentially great thread and most posts are grandstanding and bravado, comeon guys. Its time We acnowledge male abuse victims. That is fairly often brought up when female abuse is discussed but when We actually have a thread about it???? This happens?

What percentage of men are domestic (physical)abuse victims??

I think he walks with bodyguards because the man is worth hundreds of millions of dollars. I don't care if you're Brock Lessner you're better off walking with security if for no reason than to shield you from lawsuits. And people gotta stop watching movies because if I run up on you with a blade or a gun you can be 6'8 and 300lbs of muscle you'll still bleed out like any other person period. Size won't protect you from that steel ya dig.

Well nearly all threads get derailed but to your point most of these men just illustrate how fucking terrified men are of being even the tiniest bit vulnerable. Instead they need to believe that under most scenarios they're in control and they aren't. Sounds like none of them have had a truly humbling experience to let them know anybody and I mean anybody can get got. And as far as male abuse goes I don't get why they feel the need to belittle other men. If you're the big macho type that no one is gonna mess with why do you feel the need to look down your nose at someone who might get abused.

Because that's what being a man is all about. Talking down to other men and showing little respect like the muscular jock in high school is what makes real men.

Preach! The pic alone speaks volumes. It's a good thing that mayweather is smarter than most of his fans. Lol

Until someone puts you on your ass. Too many egos out here waiting to get humbled

    Beasty Well-Known Member

Well why don't you tell mayweather to lose the body guards if they don't matter. Lol

I know I'm not invincible that's why I don't start fights but most people know the difference between a bullshiter and someone that's real that's why I never actually have to fight.

Yeah the occasional person may try to intimidate but I'm not the one who backs down.

Your idea of an ego is hilarious. Just because I think its funny if a girl kicks your ass? Cry me a river.
