I never thought of it that way but they make a good point. Then again why can't poc find financing for our own shot without having to beg Hollywood who only gives a fuck about white male (Jews mostly)
I thought Guillermo Del Toro was going to direct The Flash film. He's a REAL comic book fan and he would bring a fascinating and fun touch to The Flash like he did with Blade 2 and the Hellboy films.
How many times are they going to milk those utters. As far as I am concerned, DBZ stopped at GT which was awful in my opinion.
Del Toro was in talks to do Justice League Dark, the Justice League incarnation featuring mystical characters like Constantine, Zatanna and Deadman. Don't know if they are still planning to do that however.
I hate funimations dub, wish they kept the ocean cast Gt is hot garbage. Dbz fell off to me after the freeza saga.
It definitely had some dope fights but cell was a shitty villian. The ss2 transformation had nothing on gokus og transformation. None of the villans were imposing. The story became ass cheeks and they were all over the place with the writing. Even akira toriyama said z was supposed to end at the freeza saga but money talks.
It was actually suppose to end with the Cell Saga and Gohan being the savior of the world once Goku died, sort of like from Bruce Lee to Brandon Lee, minus the bullet. But the fan service for Goku to return was too demanding, so they brought him back. But the series really hit the high point with the Freezer saga because of the new changes and unexpected power moments, including going Super Saiyan the first time. Since then, it was a free fall with some not so great villains and a story that was all the more bare bone.
Everyone has their favorite arc. I'm in the minority of people who actually liked the Buu saga :smt039 As far as I'm concerned, GT isn't even canon. Just a trial and error, emphasis on error.
It's canon, contrary to the general weeaboo audience. It may have the least episodes (also less inconsistencies), but the series is a continuation of the general storyline that began with Dragonball. I know DB Super is out now, but, unless it hits a certain point in the story where there is inconsistency in an event, it still remains part of the canonical story arc. I'm aware of the Super Saiyan God nonsense, but, there are some logical explanations behind all that to keep GT canon.
Yes I read that as well about gohan being the lead. Chichi was a bitch and goku was a shitty father. No wonder gohan turned soft. He don't even know if the baby is really his lol
Given that she was raised by a father who's wealthy and a king, plus living a somewhat sheltered life, I wouldn't be surprised by how her attitude towards raising her son to be not like her husband would be crucial. Plus, the whole "tiger mom" stereotype is being heavily portrayed. But it didn't make Gohan soft. His fighting instinct still remained very consistent, especially since he was taught mainly by Piccolo. With that, along with his intellect (though never used in battle), he does show his formidable side, though feels a bit short-lived.
